I came to be a member of Direct Auto Insurance when I went to work delivering pizza almost ten years ago. The company I was with at the time wanted to raise my rates much higher than I thought was reasonable. So I started shopping around. Direct had the best price for me so I went into a local office and signed up for a policy. I no longer deliver pizzas but I still use Direct Auto today because they still have the lowest rates and have been a very hassle free company. I’ve gone through a few different cars since then and at one time had two cars on the policy. Dropping and adding cars is very easy and the adjustment goes on the next bill so when I needed to add a car I didn’t have to come up with any down payment for it the only thing I have to do when adding or changing vehicles is take it to the office and have them inspect the vehicle and now that I’ve been a customer for so long I can add the car over the phone and come down to the office within 30 days for the inspection. During the time I’ve had them I’ve needed to make no claims and so they have lowered my insurance. The only time it spiked a little bit was a six month period where I had over 3 points on my license. But it wasn’t much higher and I called once one of the points dropped off and it was adjusted back to normal. Of all the insurance companies I’ve had since I’ve been a car owner I have had Direct the longest and feel no need to switch or look around since the company is inexpensive, the staff is friendly and I’ve had no hassles or trouble while I’ve been a customer of their insurance.
