Allstate Reviews
Illinois-based Insurer – Allstate Reviews
The largest publicly-held auto insurance company in the United States, Allstate typically sells auto insurance through its agency system. Headquartered in Northbrook, Illinois, Allstate sells car insurance in almost every state. The following Allstate reviews are from actual customers.
Allstate has received some bad press in recent years related to certain practices aimed to limit claim payouts. They seem to have improved their image recently. Like most major insurance companies, they have spent a pretty penny on advertising. If you have Allstate auto insurance or have ever had Allstate, leave a review about your experience – good, bad, or ho-hum.

I’ve been with Allstate for a little over 6 years and all in all I really don’t have any complaints. They have been fair and honest throughout these 6 years and that can be rare to find in a company nowadays. Every Allstate I’ve dealt with thus far has tried they’re very best to hold the integrity of their company. They always are alerting me in instances where I can save money, and alerting me when rates will raise.
When I got into a car wreck, that was my fault, in which only my car was damaged, about 3 years ago, they showed me how my rates would raise if I chose to have insurance pay for the damages, and what would of be my best course of action. Also when my car got vandalized about 2 years ago, they were extremely helpful in getting my car back into the condition it was. I have seen where insurance companies try to blame drive the customer for fraud and investigate the customer, before even attempting to help them! This was definitely not the problem in my case, as they fully believed me as a trusted customer.
Most of their gimmicks like “safe driver discount” don’t really save you much, and are more of a thing to attract new customers. Most of their savings and discount lie within their plans, heads up service, and helpful decision making. Again, I have no complaints and would fully recommend Allstate to those in need of car insurance.

I’ve been through several car insurance companies and I always had bad experiences until I signed up with Allstate. My agent was very friendly, straightforward and honest in explaining the prices, coverage and what exactly would happen in the claims process, and I felt comfortable with knowing I’d be covered in the event of an accident.
It wasn’t long after signing up that I got to see for myself how the whole thing worked; in the span of a month I was rear ended by another driver and I also hit a dog who ran out in front of my car. The driver who rear ended me, although he did give his information and a police report was made on the spot, never responded to any communication to settle the claim through his own insurance. Allstate ultimately covered the damages to my car because he would not cooperate, so I did not have to pay them out of pocket. This was a big relief for me.
The dog I hit did major damage to the car, including breaking the radiator, which came to almost $2,000 in damages in total. I ended up paying only a $100 deductible for the required repairs. The claims process was easy and there was no hassle required of me. I especially like that my deductible is lowered over time when I drive safely and without accidents, because it makes the occasional unavoidable accident become a relatively minor expense.
Overall I highly recommend Allstate to anyone looking for auto insurance.

I had a really positive experience with Allstate. Last year I was in a really messed up accident that was totally my fault. I fell asleep at the wheel because I was really tired and hadn’t been sleeping well for days. I crashed into a light pole at this park and completely demolished it. It literally broke in half and my car was wrecked. We had just gotten it too, I was very upset and so was my wife when I called her. I thought I was going to be sued by the city for destroying a public object. Instead Statefarm made it really easy, yeah my premiums did end up going up and I had to pay a deductible but considering it was completely my fault they could have dropped me or left me to the wolves. Instead they helped me by paying off the city for the light pole I destroyed and the damages to my car which we ended up having to take a total loss on and get a new one.
I had been with lots of other insurance companies before this one like Geico or State Farm and didn’t have quite as good an experience. Geico isn’t even like having insurance, they basically made me pay for everything when I was rear ended and State Farm dropped me after I was involved in another accident a few years before this. I admit I am not the world’s most careful driver and I started driving late in life so that might be why my driving skills suck but it was nice to feel like the insurance company had my back.

Allstate has always been a great company for me. They have insured my car for the past six years and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with them, even when I run into trouble. Their agents and staff have all been super helpful in quickly resolving any claims that I’ve had, even when I was at fault. I’ve never had a cheaper policy than I’ve had with them, and I tend to call for quotes with other companies fairly often. In addition, the agent that I work with has been very helpful in ensuring that I get all of the discounts that are available to me.
Because of this, I’ve sworn that I’ll stick with them as I don’t want to risk going with a second rate insurer. I always highly recommend them to my friends and family and have other policies with them as well. Setting up my new policy was quick and painless and I’ve also heard nothing but the same from my friends and family.
The last thing that I’d say is that their online options are really easy to use and allow you do everything without talking to someone if you don’t want. While I do enjoy the personal touch that the phone support gives you, some things are better handled quickly online without having the hassle of dialing through prompts. I love that I can monitor my payments and view all of my policies in one spot. I also like that I can make any changes there without having to go into my agent’s office. If I have questions, I can e-mail my agent directly through the website.

Allstate has always gave me the fairest prices and great service. I am still a young driver and every other place I checked for insurance was extremely high. Allstate went out of there way to find discounts to get me the lowest price possible. I even got roadside assistance included with my coverage, which I have had to use a few times.
I once ran out of gas and I was many miles from the next gas station. I called Allstate and they had a roadside service bring me a can of gas at no charge. I was so relieved and happy that day that I had Allstate for insurance. I can only imagine how expensive that service would have been with another insurance company. My local Allstate office is right down road which also super convenient.
Whenever I need to talk to them I usually just stop there instead of calling. They always treat me great, like I am family when I go in there. They always explain things to me that I don’t understand about the coverage and really look out for ways to get me the best discounts. I have suggested Allstate to all my friends and family most have switched and saved money.
When I met my girlfriend she was paying an insane amount of money because she thought it was the best price she could get. I told her to try Allstate and she ended up paying about half compared to what she was paying. I have never been in an accident. I am glad I have Allstate insurance if I ever do though. I feel I can really trust and rely on them.

My family has always used All State , both my Mom and my Dad. So as far as insurance companies go I have always just had such a familiarity with them. So naturally when I started driving it was kind of a given that my folks picked All state for my insurance company as well , as at the time I was at first put on their insurance policies. But later when I moved out I just kept using them , and am really glad that I did , because as you all know when you first start driving , you never seem to be what they call a great driver.
So when those little fender benders came or even when I had some of my nastier wrecks were I got hurt and even cars got totalled , I always knew I could count on All state to make sure everything turned out okay. Just one phone call and they put everything in motion and even more so put my mind at ease at a time when I didn’t really feel like dealing with anything. Because when you are in the hospital you certainly don’t want to be messing with a bunch of paperwork. My Agent did just what he was trained to do and took over every thing and let me concentrate more on the importance of just getting well. It’s funny but I have always looked at All State as a Second Father , who I know who will always be there to pick me up , dust me off whenever I fall down.

I have been a customer with Allstate auto insurance for about 2 years. When my previous auto company was increasing my rates dramatically, I decided to call around to see what other rates were available. Allstate offered me a very good rate. I was able to handle everything over the phone and through email. The customer service representative was very polite, professional, and knowledgeable. I was very pleased with my initial interaction. I now have been in contact with a local agent who is also very friendly and helpful. It’s nice to have someone local to call with my needs and an office that I could physically go into if necessary (although I have not had a need for that in these 2 years). They offer great good driver and other discounts.
About a year ago, I was involved in a minor car accident. I had been in one many years ago under a different insurance provider, and it was a big hassle. I was dreading having to deal with it. Allstate made it very easy. I called and provided all information about the other driver and details about the accident. They handled everything else. They made the arrangement for me to have my car taken in to a local shop that did a great job getting my car to look like new again.
We have also recently added a renters insurance policy which gave us a big discount on our auto insurance. The discount paid for more than half of the renters policy!

I only signed up with Allstate because they had my homeowners policy. The rates were decent so it seemed easiest. I haven’t found my agent to be particularly helpful or convenient but I can always make changes through the 1-800 number. This past May my husband got rear ended at sixty miles per hour and his brand new car (he had only had it for three months) was a total loss. I was at first very worried about how much money we would loose. We had traded our motorcycle in towards the car and had equity. I thought we would loose all or most of our equity due to the depreciation of the vehicle since it was purchased brand new. To my delight however, when examining our policy, I found that we had something called “new car replacement coverage”. What this does is it replaces our car with a brand new vehicle for no extra cost to us. In fact, we ended up getting about two thousand dollars back and our car payments never changed. This was such a nice feature. Much better than a standard Gap policy which would only cover a balance if you owed more than your car was worth. This one actually just replaced our car with a new one. If it had been six months later we would have even been moved up to a newer model with no cost or change in our payments. The claim process was easy and they were very prompt in all correspondence with us. I would definately recommend them to anyone that we looking to add insurance especially if it’s a new vehicle.

I just bought a house and I had to insure it, i was with progresive before and they said they couldn’t cover me, but they could for my car. So I looked around and Allstate was the fastest place to get back to me. They were able to get me a lower price for a bundle. I now have car insurance, house insruance, motorcycle insurance, and I was able to put my fiance on the insurance as well. He does not have good credit, and it still didn’t go up that much. It was also very easy to add a new car to the policy, which we did last month. I just called from the dealership, got right thru to a repersentive and it was very fast and east.
I would recommend them to anyone. It seems like even if you don’t go with them, they will still be there to answer questions. I will say the website is pretty easy also, I pay online, with auto deduct and it saves a lot of time.|

Recently I switched my auto insurance company for Allstate Insurance. I was simply tired of poor customer service and high auto insurance rates. After seeing Allstate’s many commercials and reading some excellent online reviews as well as competitive pricing I thought I’d give them a try. I went with a product called Allstate’s Your Choice Auto® Insurance Plan and chose the accident forgiveness coverage. What this plan does is, in the event you have an accident, your rates will not increase as with other auto insurers.
I signed up with Allstate online and I found that this particular coverage was extremely affordable even with a low deductible. Their website is extremely user friendly and I have my payments drafted from my checking account automatically every month. The whole set up was extremely easy. I did not have to pay extra for automobile rental coverage and 24 hour roadside assistance which was an added bonus.
Wanting to be extra sure of what I was doing, I called up their 800 customer service number. Boy! What a difference in call wait times from my previous insurer. An Allstate customer service representative immediately came on the line and she was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. She offered to help me navigate their website which I didn’t need but agreed as to avoid any mistakes. She was very patient and stayed with me on the phone all the way up till I made my initial payment and printed out my temporary insurance ID cards. This was a very pleasant experience because of the great interaction I had with her.
I almost forgot to mention that I also received discounts for being a homeowner, married, and because I have not had any traffic violations in years. I am extremely happy with Allstate and the only regret I have is not having switched to Allstate sooner! They are the best in my opinion. Kudos Allstate!

This is a great company who got me the lowest price for a first time driver. The staff at the location I visit are quite friendly and very informative. If they don’t have an answer to your question, someone else will be able to answer it.
Let me start off by saying, this company handles issues quite promptly. I had an auto accident last year, and they helped keep me up to date with everything that was going on. They handled the issue quickly, and professionally.
The coverage plans that they offer for the cost are more than generous. They are somewhat understanding about late payments and provide you with options to help get your payment in quickly when mailing is not an option. This happened once when I was out of town. I love knowing that I am using a well known company that has a proven track record for providing great service and great price.
Whenever issues come up, which they rarely do, it is really obvious how this company feels about their customers. They treat you like they would want to be treated, which makes a world of difference. I have never had a bad experience so far with this company and I have now been with them for 3 years. I do believe that in the event that something does come up like this, they will handle it quickly and professionally.
I think by comparison to other companies, the standards set out for this company are significantly higher.

Allstate Insurance was the first insurance company I signed with after I married and bought my first car, a Volvo. It has been almost 40 years and I have had to use Allstate approximately 4 times.
Two of the incidents involved accidents. One was a drunk who hit my parked Volvo and completely demolished it. The tow truck driver had to order a different truck to the scene because he literally could not find a place on the vehicle to put his hookup. Ten days later, I had a check in my hands from Allstate for the full amount of the automobile.
About twenty years passed and I had a very serious accident in which a car ran his red light at 50 miles per hour and hit my car while I was making a left onto a major boulevard. My car was a small Chevette and it traveled sideways across four lanes of traffic, was hit twice and ended up on the opposite sidewalk. I had 3 passengers and we all walked away from the accident with no injuries, not even a scratch. Allstate had a check in my hands in 7 days for the maximum blue-book value of my car.
All of my accident and non-accident issues have been handled by Allstate with the top-most professionalism. They are not an inexpensive insurance company. However, when you need them, they are there, they are dependable, and their investigators, appraisers and the service repair vendors that they work with are all reliable.

My auto insurance company is Allstate and I love the service that I am getting. My agent does everything in his power to assure that my premiums are as low as they can be. I always get calls to remind me when I need to pay and I have never had any problems with them.
I got into a small accident once and I was terrified. I didn’t know what to do so I called up my agent and he walked me through the whole process. I thought I was in big trouble for hitting another driver but we ended up settling things without going to the claims department and I believe it didn’t cost me as much as it should have. I was very fortunate to have such an experienced agent help me with this crisis. The pricing of my policy seems very fair to me and it is not overly expensive. However, I have never personally gone to another company to compare rates. The customer service of the company is excellent as evidenced by the description of my previous experience.
I have never had to deal with the claims service department so I don’t have much information to evaluate them by. Although I do believe that they are as helpful as my agent is. Overall I would say that Allstate is as good as if not better than any other insurance company out there. They have treated me very well and they will probably treat you very well also. I would definitely recommend getting insurance from Allstate.

I suppose most of the time you never think about the value of your insurance company other than considering how to get the lowest premium for the most coverage. For years, that’s what my car insurance was–an extra monthly expense I had to have to legally operate my car in the state of Virginia.
What I’ve come to learn in the last six months is that the real value of your car insurer lies not in the cheapest premium, but rather in the service you get when you need it. That’s why I’ve been very, very happy that my wife talked me out of switching from Allstate to a less-expensive policy with a smaller insurance company.
Three months ago I was stopped at a red light, minding my own business when my car was rear-ended by an SUV being driven by someone who admitted later to driving while distracted. He hit my car at about 15 mph, and while I was lucky to be uninjured, he absolutely destroyed the rear end of my Toyota Camry. I’d never filed any sort of car insurance claim and wasn’t even sure about how to go about it. After the police handled things with our wreck and my car was towed away, I called on my insurance agent.
My first surprise with Allstate was that my insurance agent seemed to know exactly who I was, even though I’d only met her once two years prior when switching to Allstate before buying the Camry. I had zero idea how to proceed with my claim, but my agent walked me through things step by step. She processed everything and after looking at the police report and entering data reassured me that not only was I going to be covered, but that she was going to make sure the car was either fixed “better than new” or that she would see that it was replaced with a car “at least as good” (her words) as my Camry. She managed to get me set up with a rental, helped me get things squared away with getting an estimate, and when the car was totalled she was aggressive in getting us a settlement so we could get the Camry replaced.
A few weeks prior to the accident, I had been taking quotes on getting cheaper insurance. My wife–who is smarter than me–talked me out of it, saying that she’d had experiences with Allstate and their customer service was worth paying for hen it was really needed. I think I’m an Allstate customer for life as the result of the professional and courteous way our accident claim was handled.

I had a car accident about one year ago where my older car was severely damaged. I was also very shaken up after the accident, but luckily the other car and driver were fine.
I called Allstate Insurance and filed a claim, I heard back from someone that same day to explain what the claims process was going to be like and to see if I needed a rental car. I was going out of town the very next day but that didn’t slow down the process at all. An adjuster came out quickly and called me while I was out of town to go over the settlement of the claim. I had the option of getting a check or having the money automatically sent to my bank account, I picked the automatic deposit and I had my money within a couple of days.
Everyone I spoke with was super nice and they all responded to my questions and concerns with caring and empathy. I even received some money to replace the car seat I had in my car with no issue at all (car seats should be replaced after a car accident and there was no way I was putting my babies back in that). I also had several opportunities to follow up with Allstate if I felt I needed medical attention, they were very attentive over that piece, making sure I knew I could pursue any injuries I had. It was a stressful time, but a very good experience.
I’m grateful that I have Allstate (even though I hope I’ll never have to use them again).

I thought changing Insurance providers would prove to be difficult, and be more costly in the long run, however, once I talked to my now Allstate agent I found the process to be straightforward, and easy to understand.
First of all, my new agent’s office is located close to my house. That gives me opportunity to ask any questions about my policy on my way to, or coming from work. In addition, he provided quotes the same day, and I was frankly impressed with the efficiency that I was not used to with my previous company. I also received more discounts now (for being a student and adding security features to my car) that I was not getting before. I have been with Allstate close to two years now, and have only done one claim, but their customer service has been outstanding.
I also like the opportunity to pay my premium with a discount in one payment or in several monthly payments. It is refreshing not getting monthly paper bills/statements in the mail, and that I can fill out claims, pay, find policy changes on the internet. The only aspect I wish they could improve is the price, that is a little bit higher than the competition, however, I gladly pay it given the amazing friendly staff and attention I receive whether I have a question or need to make a claim.
Overall, I am happy with the current service Allstate provides, and hope to continue having a business relationship with the company as they provide excellent customer attention, and speedy service when I need it the most.

My wife and I have been using Allstate for the last three years and I have to say that I have never been more pleased with any kind of insurance company in my life. Sure, we pay a little more a month than we previously did but for the piece of mind we get from our agent it is well worth every cent. Especially since we now have a child on the way and safety and security are our main priorities.
Our sales rep Mike, from the first time we talked has always been friendly, personable and easy to contact. We have never had to wait more than five minutes for him to call us back with any problems we’ve had. He also gives us several numbers to reach him so he is always available and with a smile on his face ready to help.
Although we have only been in one accident during that time, they always check up with us to make sure things are alright. Even after the accident which was another driver’s fault Mike was there to not only check on the car but to check up on our well-being. So really, if you can find your nearest Allstate agent and get the personal service of a lifetime.
Not to mention our rates have decreased over time even though we were involved in a non-responsibility wreck. Because we used autopay and always pay on time they have saved us some money in the last few years. Which in these tough times definitely come in handy – even if it is just a few dollars.

Allstate has been the insurance company provided in my family for as long as I can remember, when I was younger around 12 or 14 (20 now) my grandparents got into a pretty bad auto accident. When they called to file the claim and report all the damages and what-not the customer service was extremely nice and helpful. They told them exactly what to do, how to handle the situation, what to take pictures of, etc, etc. They ended up being able to buy a brand new car because of the coverage they had with Allstate and they didn’t have to wait long either.
Now that I am old enough to have my own insurance my first choice was Allstate due to it “running in my family”. I’m happy to say that I am not disappointed with my choice at all. The couple times I have had to call in and talk to a representative I’ve had no troubles at all, and they were all extremely nice, I am either really lucky or everyone that works for Allstate is very kind, I’m assuming the latter.
The prices are pretty decent, but for people within my age group all insurance is pretty pricy. The process for getting insured through them was relatively easy with them making you only fill out things that were necessary and not just there to waste your time.
I would recommend Allstate to any of my friends or even people I don’t know for insurance because they have always helped me, and my family whenever we needed it and most important that the customer service was always superb.

I have had Allstate insurance for over 7 years now. When I was a brand new driver I had a hard time finding insurance because my car was not worth very much. Essentially, I was put into a “risk pool”. I called a number of auto insurance companies, including some “big name” ones, but none of them treated me as well as the Allstate agents did over the phone. They were so friendly and personable.
Over the years I have had my share of fender benders and unfortunate mishaps on the road, but Allstate has been fantastic. On one occasion when my car broke down in the middle of winter the agent helped me to secure a rental and provided much needed emotional support. It was very close to the holidays and we all know how stressful that time of year can be for everyone. I was so glad that a potential catastrophe was made much, much easier.
What’s nice about Allstate is that you can generally expect to do business with one agent in the local office so you have the opportunity to talk to someone who knows you and your personal situation. I never had to worry about paperwork or meeting deadlines because my agent always went above and beyond to make sure that everything was taken care of on time.
Even the corporate office is fantastic and they will go out of their way to ensure that your questions are answered and that you are comfortable with the final outcome of the situation. I liked knowing that I was going to be taken care of when it came to vehicle and roadside issues.

My husband and I have been with Allstate Insurance out of Lebanon, Tennessee since September of 2010. We switched to them when we moved to Tennessee, after getting several quotes from other companies in the area, Allstate was by far the cheapest. Because we had a current policy that was paid up to date with our other insurance company they were able to get us switched over to Allstate without any fees or up front payments, everything was able to be billed on our first bill, very helpful and convenient.
The switch over to Allstate was smooth with no problems. We have made several changes to our account over the last 2 years, from vehicle changes, coverage changes, address and phone number changes, payment due date changes and to date everything has always been handled with care and done properly. Anyone we’ve ever spoke to with Allstate has always been courteous, caring and able to get the job done.
We’ve never had a claim with them but we have no doubt that it would be handled in a professional manner and taken care of quickly and efficiently. We recently added home owners insurance as well to our policy which is helpful because Allstate gives you several discounts if you qualify for them, a few we know about and receive are the multiple car and policy discounts, as well as safe driver discounts and if you pay on time you also get a responsible payer discount. Overall we are very pleased with Allstate as our insurance provider.

Allstate is an awesome company, I have had very good service! Every time I need to make a change to my policy, there is someone available quickly. I have heard other people say they talk to people in foreign countries, but I have always had someone from the United States on the other end.
Their claim satisfaction guarantee makes me very confident that if I did have a claim they will be there to help, thankfully I have not had one. I also like the fact that if I do have a claim I have accident forgiveness, that’s not something most companies offer. Their new drive wise discount is also pretty sweet, I like the idea of getting a huge discount for being a good driver. I think I am being priced fairly, I have not had any accidents or speeding tickets, and I am a young driver but the premium is a lot lower than most other companies.
My vehicle is 20 years old, so I do not have full coverage but when I go on a road trip I can call them at the last second and ask to include collision and comprehensive coverages for a day and it is never a problem. Allstate is always there when I need to ask a question or make a change. I do not like the fact that when I make a payment online it does not come out of my bank for almost a whole week, that has caused some problems paying other bills, but other than that I am very satisfied with the service I’ve received.

I took auto insurance with Allstate ever since I bought my first car some 4 years back. Their representatives assisted me really well in choosing the right type of coverage as per my requirements. I found it very simple to change my plan online or update any information and I always keep making changes depending upon my needs.
I have taken both Collision coverage and a Comprehensive coverage for my car. The Collision coverage pays for all the repair charges I incur in case of damages suffered by my car that are covered by my policy. The Comprehensive coverage pays for damages on covered costs that are not caused by a collision. This type of coverage always protects me in cases when the damage to my car is due to some natural disaster and is not accident related.
Once my car was damaged badly due to a hailstorm but the hail and storm damage was listed on my comprehensive coverage policy and hence I did not have to pay anything beyond my deductibles. The Allstate customer care executives were very cooperative and prompt in handling my claim.
For all my other queries and concerns too, they have always helped me out in a timely and efficient manner so I have no complaints with their services. I have also used their towing services once and did not have to wait for very long from the time I called them to the time they arrived. Overall I am quite satisfied with the services and products of Allstate

Allstate is a insurance company that I am mostly happy with. My agent returns my calls very quickly and I can get in touch with him most of the time pretty easily. The service because of this s great. I’ve never had any issues with them in the past 5 years and I plan to stick with Allstate unless something much better comes along. If there is one think that I wish Allstate had are lower prices, but I can sacrifice paying more if there is better service. When I got into an accident two years ago, all I had to do was call my agent and he told me exactly what I needed to do, and how long it would take for everything to finish. I felt completely secure the entire team, and did not have to worry about anything because I felt that I had someone I could call if I had any trouble. However I have not had many other auto insurance carries, so my experience is limited about this and many other carriers may have the same amount of service or even better. Overall I would rate them a 8.5/10 because I think they are a great company, but the prices are a little high compared to some of the other estimates I have seen. But I do think its well justified and having someone you can call is worth it. Once again though, even though I plan on sticking with Allstate for a while I may change to a different carrier if I hear great things about a different company just to test the waters.

I have been a customer of Allstate now for just over a year. Their customer service is what brought me to Allstate, and what keeps me there. I had been insured with another big name company, and I decided to do some online price comparisons. Allstate had a much lower rate than I was paying. I contacted them via email, and it was returned almost immediately. Their customer service representative went over my policy and explained the discounts that I was receiving that made such a significant difference in savings.
I made several different contacts with the same customer service representative, and they helped me in several different ways. They contacted my other insurance company and had my policy and bank draft payment stopped. They helped me setup my bank draft payments so that I would receive a discount on my premium. They also set my payment due date at the same date as my previous company, so my bill fell in the same week that it did before. They sent temporary insurance i.d. cards to my smartphone, so I would have instant proof of insurance, even though I didn’t have access to a printer. They suggested some cheap, helpful policy tweaks like the roadside assistance plan.
I have been very happy with the service that I have been given at Allstate. That being said, I have not had to file a claim. I can only hope in such an unfortunate circumstance, they will be as helpful as they have been up until now. I would highly recommend this company.

I have used Allstate Car insurance my entire life and I really have no complaints. I have gone through insurance once to fix my car after my car was involved in a hit and run with minor damage. I did not have any problem receiving the money for the fix. The full amount minus the deductible was given to me in a timely manner which I was happy about.
Any questions or concerns have be answered in a timely manner and done very politely. Good student discounts help with the price but overall the only concern that I do have is that it is very pricey. With full liability and fully coverage the high price is expected. Although I have defiantly spent more on my car insurance then I have used for my car it is good to know that I have full coverage, if I ever need it.
The physical office is located very close to my house within one mile. The office itself is very small and the people are very personable. Registering a car with them is very quick. They discuss quite thoroughly what things will affect the price each month and things I could possibly use to decrease my payments. I have never had a problem receiving insurance cards in the mail within a timely matter before the old ones come.
There are really no problems that I have with my car insurance company. My family has used the company for as long as I can personally remember and there have been no problems or concerns.

Allstate is one of the more expensive companies right now but, those trends shift with economics I’m sure. What I do know is that Allstate has set up their personal insurance plans to most benefit mature individuals, married couples (gay marriage is recognized for this purpose in most states, to my knowledge), and families.
As for payout on claims, I have never encountered a problem. My agent even signed me up for Motor Club on the spot when my car broke down, my tow was covered for free and it turned out to only be $36/year for unlimited auto service like AAA, to any car I’m traveling in (even as a passenger!). All in all, I would say Allstate is one of the best companies for auto insurance right now, they are on the high end price-wise but, offer many discounts which could apply to you! Me, I got a discount for having multiple policies with them – a discount so great that it was actually cheaper to have both my auto and renter’s, rather than just my auto!
I also got a discount for maintaining a GPA above 3.5 and for being married. My agent also told me that in two years, when I am 25, I will get another discount, and another when my spouse reaches that age! There are all kinds of other discounts and my agent and his staff are knowledgeable professionals who can answer my questions or help me find the answers very quickly!
For the money, they are tough competition. Overall, I think Allstate is the insurance company to beat!

I have been a customer of Allstate since I was 16 years old (i’m 31 now) and I must say they are an amazing company. The office that I have my insurance through is family owned and they really care about me as a customer. They regularly contact me to make sure that I don’t need to change anything on my plan and to make sure I am doing well. They even sent me tickets to a baseball game for being a long time customer once!
My rates are very low and I am never surprised on my bill. When I do have questions they answer them in a very timely manner. Their autopay option has made paying my bill super simple as well. The people that work at the office always treat me nice both in person and on the phone and make me feel valued as a customer.
I have only ever had one claim and it was when a person rear ended my car. I was on the phone with them instantly and they took great care of me. My claim was accepted and resolved within only a few days and I was given a rental car the same day as the accident. They showed great care and consideration when they heard of my accident and even sent me a get well card, since I hurt me neck a little in the accident. I fully recommend Allstate as an insurance company.
I have yet to have a single problem with them and I have used them for over 15 years!

Filing a claim with Allstate is incredibly easy. After a rock hit my windshield, causing a crack to spread throughout the windshield, I called Allstate to replace it. After less than five minutes, she had filed the claim and said that she would arrange for the repairman to come to me. Two days later, the repairman arrived on time and fixed the windshield within 30 minutes. I didn’t know claims could go so smoothly!

I have been with Allstate for more than 17 years. During that time I’ve had one speeding ticket (about 14 years ago), and one previous accident claim (my parked car was struck by a hit and run driver) about 10-12 years ago.
Two months ago I struck a post in a parking lot. There was no property damage involved and my car needed about $2400 worth of repairs (after my $500 deductible). I just received my rate increase for the next 6 months and my insurance has increased a whopping 40%. I have made numerous calls to both my agent as well as the 1-800 billing department. I have been told that rates in Texas have increased by 10% and that my accident has increased my rate by another 30%. Unfortunately no one has been able to explain to me exactly which factors were used to determine this accident surcharge.
I drive less than 3000 miles a year. I have a good driving record and have paid all of my premiums on time. This 30% accident surcharge strikes me as unreasonable for what was essentially a fender bender, especially after being in good standing for over 17 years.

Allstate has always been competent and easy to work with. Twice I’ve called my local agent to discuss the fact that I had received offers from another insurance company for a lower price, and she (my agent) was able to find a comparable cost for me with Allstate. I was able to save even more when I added my homeowners insurance to my policy.
I’ve had two minor vehicle accidents that I needed to work with Allstate for — one was a hit n’ run that occurred in a parking lot while I was shopping. I was able to get a hold of an agent right away and she quickly processed my claim and was able to get me into the repair shop of my choice quickly. The other accident was when I rear-ended another vehicle and again I was able to get a hold of an agent quickly who took care of everything, including the damage to the other vehicle, making me the entire incident much easier for me. Following this second accident, I still did not see an increase in my rates!
My local Allstate agent calls and emails me every six months to go over my policy, see if I have any other insurance needs that they can help me with, and to inform me of any new terms or conditions that have recently come about. It is quick and easy to pay my bill–they call, email, and send a notice in the mail that my renewal date is approaching, and follow this up with a bill in the mail about a week later. Allstate also has the option to have automatic payments set up online, although I personally haven’t used this feature yet.
Overall, I haven’t had any complaints with Allstate as my auto insurance company, and I’m happy to recommend them to others!

I have been with Allstate Insurance Company for thirty-seven years through six vehicle changes, two accidents and two tickets. Have I been in good hands with Allstate? As a matter of fact, yes I have.
When I first joined Allstate they were not an inexpensive company, and the reason I chose them was because a personal friend of mine was an Allstate agent. I was suspicious about their rates compared to other insurance companies. I was also a new driver and in the process of shopping around and I came up with a large quantity of horror stories about rate hikes every six months and broken promises on coverage.
However, I was soon to learn an important lesson. One evening my new wife and myself went to visit a friend here in Los Angeles. While we sat over a hot coffee pot swapping stories we heard a sudden crash on the street: not at all unusual for the city. We thought nothing of it and the sirens a few minutes later. The evening wore on, our welcome wore out and we left.
When we got to our parking space on the street there were three squad cars, an ambulance and a tow truck. A drunk was sitting talking to himself in the back of one of the patrol cars. A large abstract metal heap was parked where we had left our Volvo. The drunk had plowed into our parked car at sixty miles per hour in a thirty mile per hour zone. The vehicle was damaged beyond repair and I heard the tow driver telling my wife, “Lady, I’m sorry but I can’t even figure a place to hook her up.” The only thing left of the car was the engine block. We called our Allstate claims department. In one week we had a check in our hands for more than we spent on the car plus the tow charges. We had been Allstate clients for less than six months. Our rates did not go up.
Over the years we did not succumb to the California game of switching insurance companies every year. Allstate has helped us with advice on auto repairs and provided recommendations of service vendors in our area. After so many years, our insurance is now much less expensive (with two tickets and one accident that was our fault) than many other companies and our coverage contract promises have never been broken.
My friend no longer works for Allstate, but Allstate insurance is still very much our friend. Our rates are not the lowest, but they are fair for the market, and I am in great hands with Allstate!

I have been an Allstate customer for roughly three years, and I couldn’t be happier. I had a choice between Allstate and Nationwide, and I made the right decision.
Last December, I was in a minor car accident; some guy talking on his cellphone rear-ended me and completely totaled my back end. It was bad enough, but then the guy who hit me had the nerve to DRIVE AWAY WITHOUT GIVING ME HIS INFORMATION! I was so stuck. I was getting ready to meet my future in-laws for the first time and my car looked like a complete and total junker. I thought my Christmas with my boyfriend would be absolutely ruined. But then Allstate, like a prince in shining armor, came to my rescue.
They completely removed the stress from the situation by having such excellent customer service. I wasn’t put on hold; I talked to a live representative immediately. The woman I talked to on the phone said that they were going to completely take care of this. And they did. She was really knowledgeable and patient. That woman took care of ALL of the paperwork, dealt with the autobody shop for me, and took care of all the problems.
Because of this, I had no worries; I was covered for everything and I didn’t have to pay out of pocket. I didn’t have a deductible. Everything went through so quickly and efficiently that I managed to get Christmas presents for everybody on my list. Allstate just didn’t save me time or money; they saved my Christmas.

I absolutely love having Allstate for our insurance company. They even checked to see if we needed renters insurance, since they noticed we are living in an apartment. I have never had to make a claim with them, but I am sure if I did they would totally be helpful.
Customer service is always friendly. Including when I have questions, they always have the answer for me. They are always available to take my call and always helpful. I wish that we had gotten with this company sooner.
We had recently moved when I signed up with them, and they made the transition a whole lot smoother for me and my family. I would reccomend them to anybocy, anyday of the week!! The only problem that I have ever had was that every single time you call, they are trying to get you to sign up for that renters insurance, which does not cost much at all, but when I tell you no the first time. That usually means no. If I want it, I will call them back. Im not the type that likes to be hassled.
Other than that, I love having them for our insurance, I would not change to a different company, since this one already knows us. And they already know what we are needing. They also have great rates as well. Glad we called around and got quotes, before deciding to go with them.

Allstate has been my insurance company for about 5 years now. Ever since I switched over to them they have been nothing but great and always help me with any claim that I have.
Their customer service is the best you could ask for. Anytime I have a question to ask them, they are always ready to help with the question. I have never had one rude customer service problem with them. They always go the extra mile to make sure that I am taken care of when I have a claim.
I had an accident about a year ago and they made sure that everything was taken care of. All I had to do was call and file the claim and they took care of it.Its nice to know that your auto insurance company is taking care of you and puts you at a peace.
I also had a dispute on a claim when I first signed up with them. Someone rearended me and tried to blame it on me. It caused stress but all I had to do was call Allstate and they made sure that it was taken care of. This was a relief as my old auto insurance company I had many trouble with. They didn’t care about the customer like allstate does.
Allstate has been the standard for auto insurance for years now and I don’t see that changing. If you’re looking for an auto insurance company that is going to care about you and make sure all you’re needs are taken care of then I defeintly recommend going with all state.

I have been impressed with the service I have received from the Allstate insurance company. Prior to switching to Allstate, I was insured with State Farm, and now am convinced that I was overpaying for my insurance, and at the same time was receiving rather poor customer service from my State Farm agent.
When I switched to Allstate, I started saving about thirty-five dollars a month on my car insurance. I have also been receiving much better service from Allstate. When I needed to briefly transfer insurance from one vehicle to another, my Allstate agent handled it quickly and easily, whereas with State Farm I would have had to jump through who knows how many hoops to accomplish the same thing, and probably would have had to pay an arm and a leg for the privilege. This type of excellent service is something that I definitely look for from an insurance provider.
As far as coverage is concerned, I have no complaints. I have been fortunate enough not to have been in any collisions since switching to Allstate, but I have no doubt based on my experience with them thus far that if I were to be involved in one, my insurance claim would be handled quickly and with as little trouble to me as possible.
Their pricing is also very reasonable. My car is not even close to new, and would not be considered one of the safest models ever produced. Despite this, and even despite the fact that my age demographic would cause other insurance companies to hike up my rates, Allstate has provided me with good insurance at what I consider to be a very reasonable rate

Okay, my family has always had Allstate, so I figured they were pretty good and I should go with them as well. Well, the first few times I called up there, I kept having to change my information that they kept putting into the computer or whatever wrong. Another time I called it was really loud, it sounded like a party was going on, everyone was talking and laughing in the background and it was VERY unprofessional! Last month, I noticed Allstate billed me $158, which is $60 more than what I pay a month. So I call to see why they billed me more than they should have. Their response was, “well we sent you something in the mail, and since you didn’t sign and return it, we assumed you wanted this added on to your bill for $60 extra” which made me VERY angry. What if I had been out of town and didnt have a chance to sign and return it???? That’s not my fault. I think if someone wants something extra added to their account, they should go up to Allstate, and sign something, or call and let them know. They shouldn’t be allowed to add something like that without your approval! I’m going to State Farm or geico tomorrow to get a quote and switch, and finally cancel with Allstate. I’ve never had anything except for problems with them and I DO NOT recommend you go with them!

Back in September I had a small two car collision. It took 2 month for allstate agent to come to an agreement who was the responsible party. I was actually thinking that I was not responsible for sure since car hit me coming from the alley and I was on the main street. Each time I wanted to get an update I had to call my agent and leaving him vm to call me back. Finally after two months I call again to see if they came to an agreement with the other insurance company ,my agent picked up the phone and told me that they already settled down long time ago and he was sorry that he forgot to call me. They didn’t even give me chance to appeal because they forgot to call me for over a month. Is this a joke? Another thing is when I went to do an estimate of damage for my car,the guy come up with $505 the cost of damage where my deductible was $500. Please don’t trust allstate they don’t care for you. They only want to catch a lot of naive people by creating the funny stupid commercials and publicity. If you get allstate You will end up paying 30% more than any other insurance and the service is the worse than you will get any cheapest coverage out there. They will do anything to get around from paying you. On the top of this my allstate agent lady trying to sneak some extra cost into my policy by adding $20 for additional this or that. I have to check if the price I am paying is the same every moth because I have automatic payment set up. It happen in the past that she added some extra service to my policy without letting me know.I don’t trust them at all.

I’ve been with Allstate ever since I first started driving, and there are reasons why I’ve stayed with them for so long. Let me preface that by saying that there have been some frustrating occurrences over the years (like the time that the information on their website wasn’t getting communicated to customer service reps, and they kept calling back asking for the same information, or larger deductible fees than I’d remembered, etc.) However, on the whole, I’ve found Allstate to be a pleasant and dependable company to work with. Their customer service representatives are almost always cordial and claims are handled promptly and effectively.
I’ve only been in two accidents myself, both involving animals and foggy nights. As anybody knows who’s experienced that kind of thing, it can be very unnerving, and the last thing you want is suspicion or endless questions from your insurance company. But Allstate handled both claims very well. They offer a feature where you can report your claim online (thorough and efficient… the last one, I was able to fill out the night of the accident). I then took the car to the repair shop that Allstate recommended, whose service I was pleased with. The car was finished in less than a week, and I haven’t heard anything more from Allstate about it, which is what you want with insurance agencies. I would recommend Allstate to anybody, especially those with a relatively clean driving record.
Their rates aren’t the best in the industry, I don’t believe, but they are affordable considering the care that the company gives its clients.

I was in a front end collision that ended up completely totaling my car. The other party was at fault but Allstate was there for me from the start. They quickly took my statement and handled the other parties insurance without involving me more than was necessary. After that they sent out someone to value the car the next day and called me up on the phone to confirm everything about the car including my recent purchase of new tires which added value to my claim. When I gave my statement over the phone it went over incredibly well, they didn’t sound accusatory but rather friendly and putting me at any blame.
Additionally, I wasn’t even forced to pay my deductible because the other party was at fault and I got reimbursed incredibly fast. I am so glad I contacted my local agent to make my car insured with Allstate.
Also, I am really glad that I had chosen Allstate over a cheaper insurance company because they actually paid fair market value for my car and quickly wrote me a check so that I could purchase another vehicle. Whenever friends ask for an insurance company for their car I always recommend Allstate above anyone else.
The rates and deductibles are low, they take good care of you and they provide excellent customer service. Without Allstate, I may have been stuck with significantly less compensation for my car and that would have left me in a huge mess. I highly recommend Allstate to anyone looking for an insurance company for their car!

So far, my experience with Allstate has been satisfactory. There premiums are reasonable and comprehensive, and their policies are usually made clear to me ahead of any problems. I have few criticisms of the company, overall.
First off, their online services are very helpful and allow me to check my policies and payment status instantly, any time I want. I suspect many insurance companies now offer such services, but I can’t overstate how helpful this is. It was particularly useful when I was trying to fill out a government form regarding an accident I was in last year: the website helped me understand my policy fully so I could fill out the form effectively and efficiently.
Besides their online services, their customer service representatives are almost always polite and willing to help, though I admit that I haven’t sought out their support that often.
However, there was an instance earlier this year that was mildly frustrating. We had begun an insurance claim online and then finished it over the phone, but for some reason, this information was not relayed to the customer service representatives. Consequently, we had almost daily calls from different agents wondering when we were going to finish our claim (when in fact we’d already finished it), which, again, was somewhat frustrating. After the fifth or sixth call, I finally laid everything out to the customer service rep, and she was able to clear everything up and permanently change their records. It should be noted that through this all, the customer service representatives were very polite and apologetic, and it hasn’t greatly impacted my view of Allstate as a company.
Of course, I wish the premiums and deductibles were lower, but the prices seem fair and comparable to other companies. Based on my experiences so far, I have no plan to switch insurance companies in the near future.

I have been very pleased with Allstate. The student reward program that reduced the car insurance of students who make good grade is very helpful to my wallet. It is also a good incentive to make good grades and keep them up. My Allstate agent has also been extremely helpful in advising me on car insurance.
I feel very confident that if I were to get into an accident, they would make the process much easier and significantly less stressful. I know this from past experiences with the insurance agency, when they have advised me what to do in situations when the accident was not my fault. They are very forgiving with new drivers too.
My first accident was when I was 16 and had just started driving by myself. By simply taking a drivers ed class that they recommended, I was able to not let the incident increase my insurance. Allstate is a very great care insurance company that does everything it can to promote knowledge of driver safety and prevention.
I have been very pleased with my experience as an Allstate client. I have never had any problems with Allstate and I will continue to use them for years to come.

Disabled senior was quoted $500 for 6 month policy online. Agent was called at main number to initiate policy. Bill arrived for $1900 for 6 month policy and they denied to change the charge to the actual quote. Many departments later (over 3 months), 1 phone call was made to his home saying “our policy stands”. Local nearby agent was asked to help for nearly 2 months to get money back. Nothing was done. After being a customer for over 15 years we are getting a new agent and insurance elsewhere. Completely fraudulent and unprofessional on all levels.

My car and my husbands car has been insured under Allstate for about seven years now and I have to admit that I am very pleased with them. They are a little expensive, but they are worth every penny. I had some minor claims throughout the past seven years and they were all handled very quickly and in a professional manner. I didn’t have to wait long to receive my check either. They are very prompt.
We also insure our home with Allstate, so we get a break on the insurance. Allstate is very fair that way and they are always willing to cooperate.
It wasn’t until this past year when I really needed to use Allstate and that was due to Hurricane Sandy. I live in New York and a tree fell on my car during the storm. The entire front of my car was basically flattened like a pancake. The windshield was shattered into tiny pieces and everything under the hood was destroyed.
We were lucky enough to have comprehensive coverage, which took care of the car and gave us enough money to buy a new car, plus we even got reimbursed for using the rent a car we had to get. Allstate went above and beyond for us during this time and I was very pleased with them.
Overall, I really like and trust Allstate as my car insurance company. They have wonderful customer service representatives and the people that work in their walk in centers are really helpful and nice. If anyone is in the market for car insurance, I would not hesitate to recommend Allstate as an insurance company for them

Allstate is a great auto insurance company to do business with. Whenever I have questions regarding their policies the customer service department is always willing to help out in a timely and efficient manner.
Last year during winter the pot holes in my area were quite abundant. I ended up needing assistant at two different times last year. The first time I called for roadside help and they sent a mechanic to assist me in under 30 minutes, which I feel to be quite fast. The second time, even though I had a spare after my first incident, I called roadside help again. The mechanic that came this time was extremely helpful and called ahead of time to see if I needed anything. After he changed the tire for me I offered to take him to lunch.
The past few years I have had insurance through three different companies. Allstate has meant every need I could think of and has been more then helpful whenever I have questions or concerns. The only downfall to this company I see is the prices are not always the lowest, but you know what they say, you get what you pay for! Anyone looking for an insurance company should definitely go with Allstate as their first and only choice.
Allstate really will meet your needs and all expectations. Mark my words, they really are there to help you just like all the commercials claim. Who doesn’t want to have accident forgiveness in their back pocket, you never know when you may get distracted on the road! Quite an awesome company to do business with. I highly suggest anyone and everyone to convert to Allstate for their insurance needs!

I’ve been with Allstate insurance since I started driving at the age of 17. I am now 29 years old. Throughout the years, I’ve had good and bad experiences with this insurance company.
About one year after I started coverage with Allstate, I was involved in a major accident that totaled my brand new car. This car was covered by the full coverage plan from Allstate. However, Allstate didn’t pay for the total value of the car after the accident. I tried to contact Allstate to ask them how the total was calculated, and the representative told me that even with full coverage, the whole car’s value can not be reimbursed. It made me really wonder why I should have even bothered with full coverage then. I was paying a higher premium, and higher monthly payments, and yet, the insurance wouldn’t reimburse me completely after an accident. I was seriously considering finding another insurance at that point in time. Nevertheless, I still continued to keep my policy with Allstate.
The next experience I had with Allstate that was a rather positive one, was when I was going through a period of hardship. This time lasted for about a month or so. I called Allstate to let them know that my payment might not be paid on time for that month. The agent I spoke with reassured me that I had 10 days past the due date to pay without facing any policy lapses. So, that did help me to have a little more time to be able to pay for my bills.
The most recent experience I have with Allstate was another positive one. My husband and I recently sold one of our cars, so we wanted to take this car off of our policy. I spoke to an Allstate agent on the phone, and he was very helpful. He told me that there are some discounts that I could apply to my account to lower my monthly payment. He also told me that the plan I was on wasn’t saving me the most money in the long run. He set me up with a different policy, and from that time on, our monthly payments have been lower then they ever were.
So, in conclusion, I’ve been a loyal customer to Allstate for 12 years. Although there have been some times where I have thought of switching to another insurance company, I’ve found that Allstate has really changed for the better over the years. I don’t think I would switch now, because the customer service is really better then it was when I first started my policy with Allstate 12 years ago.

I started using Allstate in July of 2012 after hearing from a friend what she paid for insurance. I have apparently been overpaying for years because the quote I got from Allstate was significantly lower for the same coverage.
I really appreciated the option to go online and get an immediate quote with the option to buy coverage right then and there without going through an agent or waiting for a response. I was able to print out temporary coverage cards as soon as I signed up online, and they mailed my permanent insurance cards inside of a week. There were several discounts available, and the online system guided me through each one.
I will say that the terms of the coverage were a bit hard to understand and the website could really benefit from a streamlined explanation of coverage; however, with a little bit of effort I was able to understand what the differences were fairly quickly. I would say the whole process took less than twenty minutes. I was even able to choose online which date my coverage started, so I picked the day my old insurance ended to avoid paying twice for insurance.
In October I was hit in a parking lot by another driver and had to speak to an Allstate agent for the first time. The agents were prompt, courteous, and answered all of my questions when I called.
I really think Allstate is great for busy people who prefer to pick their policies and make payments online. We are so impressed that when our homeowners insurance expires next year we are going to switch to Allstate for that as well.

I’ve had a great experience. Phone reps are always kind, helpful, and courteous. They make me feel like they’re on my side. It’s been a joy knowing I have an insurance company I can trust. It’s easy to pay and manage my account online. It’s really quick and simple to make changes or update my information.
I feel like they’re a company that will keep their promise and be there when I need them most. I can count on them. They offer great benefits to good drivers. Thank God i’m a decent driver! These days, great customer service is rare. I’m glad it isn’t rare with this insurance company.
I was in an accident and they were there to help me through the process. I always felt like they cared. Great customer service! I feel a little safer on the road knowing i’ve got great insurance people to work with. Believe the commercials! They apply every word they promote on television. it’s more than sales gimmicks – no scams here. They’re worth paying a few extra dollars for. Way more reliable than other comapanies i’ve been with in the past years.
I’ve been through terrible customer service in the past, but no from my insurance company, Allstate. I would recommend them to anyone looking for real insurance. Not just a policy, but real people who really care about the real you. That’s tough to come by these days, but it exists. You just gotta go with the right company.

I have had a policy with Allstate for over 12 years. During this time I have had two experiences that have kept me with the company.
First, many years ago, someone clipped the side mirror on our car. I called Allstate and was told by the local agent that the damage was covered and that we could get it fixed. I was later called by another national agent who told me that the damage would not be covered. The damage was already being fixed by the time I got the second call. When I explained that we had already been cleared to have the damage fixed we were told to continue and we never had any conflict on the claim.
This last year my oldest child was added to our insurance. The addition of a new driver is painful on the pocket-book. I called my local agent and over the next week we went through several options. I actually picked what I thought was a good option – but four days later my agent called with a new policy option that was being tested. This new test policy gave me better coverage for less money. This was nice because I had thought the matter was resolved but the agent still continued to work to find me a lower price.
Even when this lower price meant that he had to go through all the paperwork of canceling my new policy and setting me up with a new, new policy. All-in-all I have found that Allstate treats me as a real person and has worked to create policies that fit my individual needs.

The AllState Auto Insurance did not provide me a great experience, as I expected from it. Being honest, when my best friend recommended it to me, I really thought that it was very good and appropriate for my needs.
It accomplished some of them, indeed, but when it was about an accident, I had to pay 75% of the repairations and that was not very nice and pleasant for me. I called at the customer service and they told me about their policies and so on – I was pretty shocked. They did not want to pay the damages and I had to argue with them a little – this made them change their mind… a little bit.
I did not give up this AllState Auto Insurance because it is pretty difficult for me to choose another one at this moment – I do not have the necessary mood or time for this and I want to choose it wisely. They are not helpful regarding car damages or additional services and this is awful, as its role was to ensure the client some advantages, as he pays for that insurance and they HAVE to do that. I considered it a violation of my rights, so I decided to complain at the superior and ask for a compensation for their overall behavior. I managed to obtain a montly discount of 10%, but nothing more.
I have to say that I was VERY disappointed indeed with AllState Auto Insurance – I expected more from them. My eperience was not great and I would never choose to do business with them ever again
