QBE is an Australian insurance company that was started in 1886 as North Queensland Insurance Co. Limited (Q). In 1921, Bankers’ and Traders’ Insurance Co (B) was started and then finally in 1959 Equitable Probate and General Insurance Co. (E) was acquired.  In 1991, QBE opened an office to represent their company in the United States and QBE North America was born. They offer a wide selection of insurance products to both companies and individuals, included car insurance products.
