I have gone through a ton of car insurance companies in the past and I finally landed on State Farm. This biggest thing that I liked about State Farm was how much I am paying for it. When I was first looking through all of the online quotes, most of them were in the 200 dollar range per month because I has some tickets in the past. State Farm ended up costing me only 70ish dollars and has since done down.
Another big thing that makes me love State Farm is how they helped me with my insurance claim. I got into my very first accident not to long ago, and they provided me with a ton of help. I was not at fault, so they helped walk me through the whole process step by step. They called around to see where my car was towed to, they called the other driver’s insurance company and had them get an adjuster sent out. They also helped get me a cheap rental car for the time that I was waiting for the case to be resolved so I had a way to get around for work and other things. State Farm also has fantastic phone support.
You can call them anytime of the day or night, and get any questions answered. I’ve had some questions about what was on my bill and stuff, and it got resolved very fast over the phone with no issues at all. I have recommended people to get State Farm insurance in the past, and will continue to do so if they keep things the way they are.

My experiences with State Farm have been very positive. I was rear ended last year and my car was totaled. State Farm provided alternated transportation of a greater value than my car was and was very responsive throughout the process. The payout they provided for my car was greater than it was worth which made car shopping a much better process. Since then they have continued to follow up and make sure that I am physically okay. A few months ago my car would not start. I called roadside assistance and they had my car being towed within twenty minutes.

State Farm offers a great auto insurance policy for someone who is young, out of college, and just getting started in their professional life. There is a “good grade discount” that can be used while in college and even extended a few years after graduation. For me, this took about ten percent off of my monthly bill. Additionally, my parents also use State Farm for their auto policy which reduces my payment even further.
What really affects my rating of State Farm is how well they took care of me after I got in a collision two years ago. I was hit in the rear by a driver, which caused me to hit the person in front of me. The person who hit me took off, and I was stuck doing the paperwork. Thankfully my deductible was low, and my agent, Mike, put on the claim that the person who stuck me was uninsured so I did not have to pay very much for the damages. Mike was also really nice to me too- I was scared and crying because I was afraid of how much I though the damages would initially cost me. It really struck me how empathetic he was to my experience, even though the damages weren’t significant and they probably hear sob stories a million times a day from young kids. There has been more than once their towing policy has come through.
Once I got stuck in the mud and another time my tire blew out on the highway and I was stranded. Both times I called State Farm asking what to do, and the agents called local towing services to come get me. Both times I was full compensated for the towing within the week, and with minimal hassle (paperwork). I really enjoy the services that State Farm provides and I intend to get their Life Insurance Policy as well.

Previously I was with Progressive, but I was unhappy with the constantly rising cost of my policy there. Instead of seeing my annual rates with them falling each year, I was seeing steady increases each time I renewed. I started shopping around for a better deal, and after reviewing a fair number of insurance providers, State Farm gave me far and away the best quote. The price they offered was less than half of what I was paying at Progressive, and also much lower than other companies like Geico and Allstate.. Unsure if this quote was actually accurate, or if they’d try and slip additional fees in after the fact, I contacted them and confirmed that they were willing to offer me a policy at the exact price I was quoted. I immediately switched and could not be more pleased.
State Farm offers me all sorts of little means of getting deeper discounts on my policy, such as verifying my odometer to get a discount if I drive less. The contacts I’ve had with their staff have been friendly and polite, and they’re prompt on calling you back if necessary. I guess the real test of the service will be if I end up in accident, but fingers crossed that will never become an issue. I have not had any problems with them since switching and don’t think I could ever be tempted away.
If Progessive had made the kind of effort to get me discounts that State Farm has they could have kept me as a customer. I appreciate how State Farm goes the extra mile to secure low prices.

So I moved to a new neighborhood a few years ago from the chicago and it turned out one of my new neighbors worked for state farm. One day he came over and introduced himself to me and welcomed me and my wife to the neighborhood. In this conversation the subject of his work came up and he offered to give me a quote on car insurance for me. It ended up being a bit cheaper than my company I had at the time so I decided to switch over. It’s been a great decision because I have not had one problem with them since. Last year I had bought a new car and not long at all after I got it, I was rear ended on the expressway on my ride to work. The damage wasn’t bad and I talked to the agent about what would be the best way of going about it. He really helped me figure out what would be the best deal so I wouldn’t have a huge increase in my rates. It ended up not being raised at all and the man who hit me just payed for it out of pocket, saving both of us in the long run.
Overall my agent and the company as a whole has been really easy to work with on the few occasions I actually had to contact them about problems I was having. As long as the rates stay the same and the customer service is good I plan on staying with them and would and have recommended them to my friends.

State Farm is an excellent insurer. I’m not someone who gets tickets or accidents so I don’t have a lot of experience with their claim service, but I have had a handful of positive experiences with staff. I’m impressed by the fact that they always go the extra mile to point out the discounts available to me, as well as guide me through the process.
When I was first starting out with them I was still a high school student and didn’t know the discounts available to me. State Farm walked me through setting up an app on my phone that would give me a “good driver” discount. They made the process simple and I saved a lot of money. They also gave me a good student discount, even applying the discount before I turned in my grades to them. I thought doing this on good faith was really trusting of them. I even forgot to turn the paper in because I was distracted with the end of the school year and my representative followed up with me to make sure I wouldn’t miss out on the discount.
It always feels like I’m talking to a neighbor or friend when I communicate with them. Their customer services is incredible and resolving problems with them is a positive experience. If I ever have an issue I feel that I can speak to them honestly and we can come up with a solution together. I’d recommend them to any of my friends or family members without hesitation.

I have been with State Farm for 30 years and haven’t needed to use it til recently. They have tried very hard to not call me back and not pay for what they said they would pay for. They sent me to their doctor who totally lied about what I told him. My local guy isn’t doing much better on helping me. They said they would pay for a certain doctor and haven’t. They don’t care if I leave so I am!

I am insured through a locally owned State Farm office in Upstate New York. First off, their location is extremely convenient for me. Their office is located right on our Main Street and is only a couple of blocks away from my home. The service I have received there over the years has been nothing short of excellent.
I have almost exclusively dealt with the same agent throughout my seven years with their office and she is very knowledgeable. She always takes the time to work with me, trying to find me as many discounts as possible. When I was eighteen and got into a nasty car accident, my rates sky rocketed. State Farm did everything they could to get my rates back down to a reasonable level and, in that instance, ended up saving me over a hundred dollars a month. I have also had questions about different kinds of policies over the years- renter’s insurance, the different types of life insurance and home owner’s insurance. I have yet to need any of these services, but they were always very well explained. I never leave my State Farm office without fully understanding the service or product I was there to discuss.
An added bonus, for me, is that I never feel like my agent(s) are trying to sell me something. They always simply go over the pros and cons of a specific service or product and how it could potentially benefit me. They give me all the information I need and then they let me decide for myself if the service or product is something that I would need.
Overall, State Farm is a wonderful insurance company. I recommend my local office to my friends and family and when the time comes for insurance other than for my vehicles, I will certainly go to State Farm!

State Farm has been my car insurance company for roughly five or so years. Despite State Farm having annoying commercials on the television all the time, my personal experience has been very great, although I have heard several stories about very negative experiences with State Farm from a couple different people that I know. Besides paying them all the time, I have not had a whole lot of experience with them personally, meaning filing claims, talking to customer service reps, etc. But the few times that I have had to file a claim, State Farm was extremely professional and helpful. The worst time that I had to file a claim was when some other car ran through a red light and completely totaled my car as well as his. State Farm was very concerned for my safety and it seemed quite genuine, as least with the State Farm rep that I talked to. That really surprised me, I thought that an insurance company would be all business and numbers. When I filed the claim for that accident, it did not take very long for the process to be completed. Even when I called them, I only had to hold for a couple minutes before I talked to a person. Overall, I have not had a bad experience with State Farm yet, so I will definitely continue to use them. Even my rates for insurance seem very fair to me, so I see not reason why I would change. I would give my personal State Farm insurance experience and review of the company as a whole a five out of five.

I used State Farm because that’s the insurance my parents used so they offered me a great discount. When I got married I used them for my home insurance as well since they offered a packaged deal that no one could eve get $200 close to. Unfortunately they’re billing department is useless. They constantly send bills to old address. I’ve had to go in 3 separate times and have this issue corrected. My car insurance has lapped because of this and now I’m strongly considering just paying the extra money with a different company who is more competent

I’ve been with State Farm for over five years now. Both my agent and his staff are always extremely helpful. They take the time to help me no matter what the issue, big or small. Due to some new purchases and life changes, I’ve had to call them numerous times to make changes to my policy. Everyone I talk to at the office knows me by voice now I call them so much. They greet me by first name, and find the best solutions for me. I never have to go in to do anything. They make everything so simple, and usually take care of it all right over the phone. If not, they just email me what I need. I’ve only been to the office once when I first got the policy. There’s never any need to go in. They make everything so convenient, and can usually manage to get me a discount. That’s even better.
Nobody ever tries to push me to buy more services, they simply listen to what I need and we go from there. I even got a surprise in the mail the other day. Someone there checked my policy and realized I was eligible for a discount due to my new address. Without me even asking, they applied the discount and got a letter out to me. Talk about surprised! I got close to $100 off! I called to thank them, and the lady I talked to laughed. She said we’re just doing our job.
They definitely do their job there, and they do it well. I really can’t say enough about them. My experience with them has been nothing but fantastic, I’d recommend them to anyone looking for insurance.

I’ve been with State Farm for about 4 years now and I have no complaints. I started out in one State Farm location and when I moved I transferred my policy over to my current state.
They sent me some cool freebies like a calendar, pencil, mailing labels and a pouch to keep the insurance information in. The rates are comparably low to the other top agencies here and this is a state with high average rates. State Farm offers many discounts including student, and safe driver which i qualified for. The agents that helped me at both locations were very friendly and easy to talk to. They helped me choose feel comfortable in choosing their company to insure my car with.
I was satisfied with my service and was recently called about a change in the policy due to a discount. Somehow the safe driver discount hadn’t went through and I was being over charged. They credited me for the past year I had gone without the discount and also sent me a check in the mail for the amount i had been over charged. I feel State Farm was good in doing the right thing to find me the lowest price and make sure i got my money back.
State Farm offers flexibility in. making your payment in the sense that as of recently you can now call the day before the payment is due and have them wait to make the automatic withdrawal for your bank account as to avoid an overdraft, make a check stretch further etc. I have never had to make a claim with the agency but I am confident that my agent would help me and provide great service.

State Farm is a perfectly adequate insurance company. I use them for my F150 pickup truck. In fact, I’ve used them ever since I got this truck, all the way back in 1995. I had originally called my local office to inquire about the insurance, after the guy who lives a couple of houses down from me told me how solid they were. When I called it was a normal straight forward call, and because there was no sales pressure I went ahead and accepted their offer. Like I’ve said, I’ve been with them ever since.
Now, the interesting thing is that I’ve never had to file a claim with them, and yes, my rate has increased a bit over the years. But I guess that would be expected. There was one time when I had considered filing a claim, cause a neighborhood kid, riding his bike with his friends, smacked my driver’s side door with a stick and shattered the glass. But I think it was only about 45 dollars to have replaced, so I never filed the claim. My interaction with them is minimal, which is exactly the way I like it.
Also, as far as I know, they have never “sold” my information to another company, therefore, eliminating those annoying telemarketing calls that so frequently can bother people. There was one year when they sent me a holiday card and inside of it was a sticker that said State Farm. I never put it on anything though. I think I still have the sticker in their file folder. If and when I get a new truck, I’ll keep with State Farm. I have no reason to shop around.

I’ve had State Farm Insurance since I was 16 years old. I’m 43 now. I have never been disappointed with them. I’ve worked for other insurance agencies. I’ve written thousands of policies for other insurance companies. I’ve run literally countless quotes for other insurance companies. I was the office manager for a very successful independent insurance agency that was not State Farm. In that entire time, I was never able to quote myself with the same level of insurance for a better price. I always stayed with State Farm. Not only do they provide me with the best premiums, but their customer service is always tops.
Unfortunately I’ve been involved in a couple of motor vehicle accidents, but my State Farm agent was always quick to act in my best interest and there to assist me in every possible way. They handled my rental car for me. When my vehicle was declared a total loss, they got my check to me in less than a week so I could buy another vehicle. They checked in on me regarding my medical treatment after the accidents. They made everything so much easier for me, in what would normally have been a very difficult and stressful time.
They never high pressure me to up my insurance. They do let me know about other things that are available, or about different ways I could save a little money on my policy, but it’s never in a pushy or forward manner. I usually make my payments online. Their website is super easy to navigate and very user friendly. The transactions go through quickly and effortlessly. I couldn’t be happier with the service I get from State Farm, and I look forward to many more years of the customer service that I get from them.

I’ve been with this State Farm for about two years, and although I cannot vouch for my agent himself, I can say that his staff is great.
I’ve had payment issues, I’ve changed coverage, I’ve gotten into a couple of wrecks — the office helps me out every time! They always find a solution for me that works no matter what.
Even when my insurance went up because of the wrecks, I stayed with this place because they’ve helped me out so much. We were able to take care of everything over the phone and email. That was mass convenient. She was even able to deal with moving me off my previous auto insurance onto my new coverage. She didn’t try to push me to buy anything I didn’t want and took time to explain everything to me, even when I had to ask her about some things multiple times. The price I got here was much lower than prices I was quoted at online places like Progressive and Esurance. A good choice!
I have been completely won over with the consistent high level of service and caring that I have experienced over that time. I recommend his services to all my friends and clients without reservation

We have had our auto insurance with State Farm for over 20 years. We have always had great service and been happy with the rates that we pay.
In the past 20 years we have had to file several claims with State Farm. The first time was when our vehicle was totaled in an accident. The State Farm agent was kind and very concerned about our family before she even asked about any of the details of the accident. Our claim was handled very professionally, quickly, and we were very satisfied with the outcome and were able to replace our car without any difficulty or frustration.
The second time we filed a claim was due to our two year old daughter throwing a rock through the back window of our van. This claim was also handled very quickly and professionally and when we had issues with the glass company who replaced the window, State Farm dealt with them as well to get the issue resolved.
The last time was recently when I was rear ended. The other driver also had State Farm Insurance and the entire process took less than two weeks to resolve for us.
We have also been very happy with just the everyday service we get from State Farm. They have been helpful when we needed information from them for various things and have even gone the extra mile to take care of things for me that they didn’t have to and could have left for me to do. When others try to get us to change insurance providers, we just can’t think of a reason why we would want to. We are happy with the cost, the service, and the security we feel knowing that if something happens, State Farm will take care of us.

I have been with State Farm for my vehicle insurance for around a couple of years now. When my old insurance company would not cover me for more than liability, without wanting to charge me a ridiculous amount, I turned to State Farm hoping for a better rate. They not only offered me a much better rate for full coverage than my previous insurer, but also went well above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied with the package before signing me.
The customer service agents at State Farm insurance are amazing. They are always friendly, and eager to assist me with any concerns or questions I have had.
I had a minor accident where I was backed into by another driver at a shopper center parking lot that caused minor damage to my vehicle. I ended up having to get my rear bumper replaced, left taillight, and a small dent repaired. I called State Farm, and had the cost of the damages estimated by a professional. State Farm was very quick to help me file the claim, and before I knew it my vehicle was repaired, and looking like new again. They even paid the cost for me to drive a temporary vehicle while mine was being repaired.
In my opinion State Farm Insurance is top notch, and I would highly recommend using them for your vehicle insurance needs. In fact, I will be using them in the future for any other insurance needs I may need as well. My experience with them has been nothing but positive, and I give them 5 out of 5 stars.

I really enjoy having state farm car insurance. It’s been my pleasure to use them since switching over from geico after they suddenly upped my rates for really no reason. I consider myself lucky to have found state farm because the coverage is really great and I saved a TON when I switched.
When I was shopping for insurance I asked my friends who they would recommend and they all said state farm. I just strolled into a local state farm agency near my house and within 30 minutes I had a great policy for about half what I was paying on a per monthly basis than I was with geico. They offered me deals for auto-drafting each monthly payment and I really appreciated that because a lot of companies wanted a big down payment up front. This greatly helped me out when I was sort of in a bind financially that month. I don’t make a ton of money so I sometimes have to stretch the dollar each paycheck. But with state farm I know that I have quality insurance and not some cut rate company that will jack up my rates the minute I need to use them. It really gives piece of mind when you are worrying about having to pay for essentials like insurance.
I have had them for over a year now and couldn’t be happier. Whenever a friend asks what insurance I have I don’t hesitate to tell them that I use and love state farm. Plus the commercials are great too.

I have been insured with State Farm since I turned 16, which has been almost 10 years ago. They have been great to deal with. In those 10 years, I have been involved in 2 accidents, and both were handled very efficiently and were for the most part painless. They are quick to deal with any problems you may have, and their staff is very nice and professional. I have requested multiple times for quotes on rates for new cars, and they always get back to me right away.
On one occasion, a woman hit me while I was at a stop sign. I called up my insurance and they sent someone out the very next day to look at my vehicle. They even sent them to my place of work since I was not at home. They assessed the damages on my car, and wrote me out a check that day for the damages done and said that if the damages were more than the amount written, to call them and they would take care of the rest. I was very pleased with the service.
Anytime I have had to call for questions or information, I always receive a call back the same day, and they are all very informative about whatever I am looking for. They may be a little bit more expensive than other insurance companies, but its worth the money if you want to be well covered when something happens. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to change insurance companies. In the 10 years I have been insured with them, I haven’t ever considered switching.

I have been a member of State Farm insurance in California for over 10 years now. In that time the agent I originally signed up with retired and I got a new agent. Both agents were very professional anytime I dealt with them. Recently my new agent relocated his office. He made sure everybody knew this by sending letters and making personal phone calls. I thought the personal phone calls was a very nice touch.
Recently I lost my job and was looking to trim costs in any way I could. I called the State Farm agent and asked him what changes I can make in my policy to help alleviate my costs. He suggested that I change my mileage limit to under 7500 miles a year. He explained that this would need to be verified on occasion with photographs of my odometer. Since I don’t drive a lot, being unemployed, I thought this is a great idea and was glad to do it. Looking back on this I was pleasantly surprised that the agent made this suggestion because I’m sure part of his income is based on the premiums that I pay. But he quite wisely went with the long-term strategy of keeping me as a client rather than trying to score a few extra dollars that he would have if I did not make this change.
Yesterday I called to verify payment with the local office manager and during the conversation I asked to remove the roadside fee. I told her that I had AAA. She said we are just like AAA but only about six dollars a year compared to the $48 a year I’m paying with AAA. I assume the roadside assistance from State Farm would be less thorough than AAA. I now going to drop AAA, and keep the roadside assistance from State Farm. I remain a loyal and happy customer.

My insurer focuses primarily on customer service and based on their reputation and history I trust that they would be there for me in the event of a claim. It seems like their price may be slightly higher than other auto insurers, but the service they provide and the company stability make the extra price worth it.
In addition, they offer a wide variety of products which allows me to purchase all of my insurance from one company and, in some cases, to get discounts by purchasing different types of insurance together.|

I am very pleased with my insurance company. They get personal with their clients. There was a time when we were on a strict budget. I spoke with our agent about this. He said we could come in and he can go over all our policies with us and see if we could cut any corner. The only time that we could come in was a Saturday. He said whenever we could come in he would make time for us.
He was very patient with us and went over all our policies very carefully with us. Explaining every detail. What we could and should not cut. And when we get back on our feet we could always bring up our coverage again. He made us feel good and confident of our choices.
When I was in a car accident it was the first one I had been in. They were very helpful and patient with all of my questions. I was very nervous even when it was not my fault. I did not have to fill out any paper work at all. They took care of everything down to my rental car. It was a very painless experience. I had everything taken care of and my car back in know time at all.
Furthermore, I would definatly encourage any one who is looking for an insurance company to strongly consider State Farm. I was with one State Farm agent for 16 years then he retired. He was awesome and I thought I would never find someone that good ever. He referred me to someone who was closer to us and wished us well. I was pleasantly surprised when I met our new agent. He was equally wonderful. I definetly see a pattern going on here. You should give them a try.

I recently bought a car and checked out my options for new car insurance. I chose State Farm because they are highly advertised in the area and they were actually very cheap compared to some of the other companies. I went to the local office and was signed up in less than 20 minutes. I was shocked at how easy everything was and all of the State Farm reps seemed very knowledgeable and helpful.
About 2 months into my service with State Farm I got into an accident when driving home one night. I was driving on a country road and I ran into a deer. It was very late so I called the next day and the rep helped me file a claim. It took about half an hour but in the end I was pleased with how simple things were. I took it to the repair center they suggested and within a week my car was fully repaired.
I was a little surprised at how my insurance company didn’t do a follow up or ask if I was pleased with the results or anything really. It was assumed by them that I was happy with my claim and this bothered me a little bit because they told me numerous times they would check with me after the repairs were done.
Overall, I’m happy with their service and sometimes I do recommend them to friends looking for new insurance for their cars. I guess I’m also pleased that after an accident my rates didn’t change at all which I was pretty happy with since I did about 5k worth of damage.

I am overall very satisfied with my insurance company. I was 20 when I first came to State Farm. I was buying a new car and needed full coverage insurance to lease from the dealership. I called a few different insurance companies for quotes. All of them quoted me extremely high quotes considering only the factor of my age into the equation.
I was worried my insurance would cost me more then my car payment. I went into a State Farm office and talked to an agent. She gave sme full one on one attention and asked alot of questions to be able to factor in all variables. I almost could’nt believe what I was hearing when she told me how much my quote was. It was so cheap. About 1 year later I started receiving good driver bonus check from State Farm. I never expected to get them but there they were in my mailbox at a perfect time when money was a little tight. I have had nothing but great experiences from State Farm.
I just wish that everyone could have the same experiences with their insurance company as me. I have had other insurance companies and always despised even calling the phone number to try and contact anyone for anything. With State farm I had my own personal agent whom I could get ahold of and talk to easily and without having to explain my entire life to because my agent remembered who I was and what my file looked like plus how I was doing personally and professionally.

State Farm has been my insurance company for 22 years and I am extremely satisfied with them. I have never been given a problem with a claim, and anything that needed to be covered was covered. There have even been times when my premium payment was coming due and I was short of funds. They have always adjusted dates to help me and have also allowed me to change my payment method from time to time some months as necessary. It is a pleasure to call my agent and his office staff knows who I am and I NEVER talk to a computer. I will never change from State Farm if I can help it.

Overall, I have been very satisfied with the quality of service that has been provided by State Farm over the years. State Farm is the only auto insurance company that I have ever used, for the seventeen years that I have been driving, and to this point they have never given me a reason to switch. Every time I have ever needed to call my agent with a question or other request, they have always been kind and courteous and have treated me like an individual and not just another numbered customer.
The one time I did need to file a claim, it was for a time my car was hit in a parking lot by another driver who then drove off. State Farm was very fast with sending out someone to inspect the damage and give me an estimate – it took two days at the most. Once they inspected the damage, they immediately sent me a check for the reimbursement, in all the process took only a few days. I was very pleased with the level of service they provided in this instance.
I have always found State Farm’s rates to be fair and affordable, though they have fluctuated somewhat on occasions where I have moved from the suburbs to the city or reverse. While it is understandable that insurance rates would be higher in the city than in the suburbs, it is a little jarring to see one’s rates go up significantly along with the other expenses, and I would hope that my good driving record would be taken into account.
That said, I probably could lower my rates somewhat by switching to another company, but at this point I have had such a good history with State Farm that I am reluctant to take a chance with another company in order to save a couple of dollars a month.

The company seems to be nice when I just enrolled into this. But the actual help needed when you encounter with an accident. Two years ago, I had an accident (No Fault). They gave me a hard time to get my car service done only because they have been waiting for company evaluator (I don’t know what that means !!!) to check the damage on my car and then give it to mechanic. That person took almost a week to come and my car was standing on the garage waiting for approval from them. That was really bad when I paid all of their insurance on a regular basis on very first day as bill arrived. No fault accident. Driver since last 10 years. That experience made me think negative about this company.

I used to be part of an insurance company that had continually hiked up my rates. Some of it was my fault due to speeding tickets and accidents. However after spending over a year dealing with those issues, I finally had enough with my old indifferent insurance company and switched over to State Farm Insurance. State Farm’s initial offer was over fifty dollars lower then my previous insurance company. Then after a few adjustments it still ended up being at least twenty dollars cheaper than what I used to pay.
Also, unlike my previous insurance, I got to deal with an agent in person. Not one over the phone who did not really care about me. The State Farm agent was helpful and friendly to talk with. She went out of her way to compliment me and liked the sports car I was driving. Each year I have been with State Farm, my agent has gone out of her way to find savings for me. Unlike my previous insurance policy, I found my monthly premium has continually gone down. At the start of the policy I was paying one hundred and thirty four dollars a month. ‘
Two years later on, I am now paying slightly over a hundred dollars. Then I got a letter from my agent asking me to come in to go over my policy. Working with my agent, we found that she could save me another ten dollars a month by adding renters insurance. While my monthly car insurance bill went down to ninety dollars, the renters insurance added eleven dollars. In the end, I was paying the same amount as before, yet now I also have $35,000 in renters insurance coverage.
I have been extremely pleased with state Farm Insurance and I plan on staying with them for a long time. Plus I am encouraged that the longer I stay, the cheaper my insurance premiums will become.

I have State Farm insurance and I have had this for seven years. I have only been in one accident, but have had three other situations that had to be dealt with.
My first was the time that my car actually caught on fire. I had some repair work done and after leaving the mall I got in and started my car and flames came from under the hood. This car was totaled then I totaled another car when I hit a deer. Then I had my first accident which was a fender bender in which I was hit. This event left me with a dent in the front that was paid out to me instead of being fixed so I fixed my breaks.
Then finally, my boyfriend wrecked my car. This took a while because the car was totaled but it had to be sold at auction for me to receive compensation that happened eight months later. This was quite a bit of trouble to sort out. When my boyfriend got in the accident, the title for the car was sent back to a junk yard in the state that we originally took out the policy. The junk yard had the same name as the junk yard in the state we currently live. This delayed the selling of the car. It took several phone calls to figure out where the title was (phone calls by us). Then we had to let them know where it was.
Overall, their service is good and cost is consistent and negotiable. I have had a lot of trouble and they have always assisted me. It is not quick service but they are there when you need them. Like any other type of insurance you cannot sit by and wait for them to take care of it, you have to be proactive.

I have had coverage with State Farm since 1998. State Farm insures my GMC Sierra and a Kiefer Built horse trailer. I do not have a “claim” experience with State Farm, so I cannot tell you how they are in those terms. But, I am pleased with them for other things:
1. The agent made the transfer of coverage fairly simple. Though I kept the old truck, that vehicle was being taken off the road. I wanted that vehicle covered for liability in case someone stole the truck. The agent was able to do both my requests.
2. I purchased a brand new Kiefer Built horse trailer in 2005. I wanted the horse trailer to be insured. The State Farm Insurance Company did not seem to want to insure the trailer but my agent was able to get coverage anyway.
All in all, it is the insurance agency I deal with, not the company itself. I suppose if I ever had a claim that would be different. I am delighted with my insurance agent. They are quick to respond to my questions. They are patient with me when I want to review my policy and make changes. Some things about the company itself makes me feel comfortable about having them as my insurance carrier. The fact that they are a large company is a big part of my trust in State Farm.
Should I have a claim, I feel that a large company probably has the systems in place to handle my claim in a timely fashion, even if my claim is caused in an accident in another state. I live in rural Maryland, I frequently shop in either Pennsylvania or West Virginia. Also, I have done some shopping around. Progressive offered me a 30% discount with their snapshot program, but would not insure the horse trailer.
Progressive was the only insurance company that could beat State Farm’s premium. Other insurance companies could not match the coverage I was getting for the price I was getting.

Overall, my wife and I have had a positive experience with State Farm to insure both of our cars. We have been with them for almost ten years now. The most positive things are that it was easy to get started. When I was still a student they offered us some special discounts, and I was able to take an at-home driving course to get even more of a discount.
Also, we started with State Farm when we lived in Washington. When it came time to move to Kentucky, they made it very easy for us to transfer. We dropped by the office and they set us up with an office very close to the apartments we were moving to in Kentucky. That process was seamless. The rates and multi-line discounts have been great. The staff have always been professional and responsive to our needs.
The only thing I have not liked happened just recently. We bought a two year old used Camry. State Farm made us drive in to their office so they could inspect it before approving the insurance. This inspection ended up being the staff stepping outside for less than a minute and saying, “So that’s it, right there?” Then we were approved. This was a big waste of our time. I would not have been as bothered, except that we had bought a similar used car a year prior, and that time they didn’t make us drive in for an inspection. So that part was inconsistent and inconvenient, but in the big picture, it wasn’t that big of a deal. We’ve had a good experience overall.

I have been driving for more than 25-years, and fortunately I have only had to file an auto insurance claim once. I looked out the living room window on a Saturday morning in November of 2008, and saw that the back end of my car was smashed in while it was parked along the curb. After calling the police, I called Anne Sandoval, my State Farm Insurance agent, to let her know what happened. She was great in helping me get the ball rolling, and an insurance adjuster arrived later that morning.
The adjuster determined that the car had enough damage to consider it a total loss. The adjuster also arranged for my car to be towed away once I gathered all of the loose pieces near where the collision took place. I called Anne on Monday, and she said they would give me a check for the full Blue Book price of the car, minus my $500 deductible. I went to her office the next day to pick up the check. A few weeks later, I received a call from the local police department saying they may have a suspect in the accident. I brought the evidence I had collected to the police station, and they were able to match enough items with another damaged vehicle to arrest someone. I gave the information to Anne, and they gave me my deductible back the very same day. I could not have been more happy with my State Farm agent in this situation. They took care of everything for me, and I was able to buy another quality vehicle quickly.
They also did not increase my premium because I was not at fault, and they kept my “accident-free” discount in-tact. I don’t see myself switching car insurance companies the rest of my life thanks to the outstanding service I received from my State Farm agent in my time of need.

I love being a customer at State Farm, they have been the best auto insurance company I have ever worked with. I have had my fair share of auto insurance experiences, and have worked with many different firms. However, I can firmly say that State Farm has given me the best rates and the best service out of any company ever. They really care for your safety, well-being, and company.
I remember last year in March I was in a pretty big car accident. The driver behind me fell asleep at the wheel and backed into me while we were on the highway. Luckily, I escaped unhurt, but my car was totaled. State Farm was there at the scene in a matter of minutes, and made sure I was okay. They processed my claim in a very short time, and I was able to get to work the next week with no problems and in a new car. They genuinely cared about me the whole time, because they see me as an important customer. That is something you rarely see from big-time companies nowadays, but State Farm really does care about you.
State Farm’s rates are also surprisingly low compared to the competition, which makes it even better. I can easily afford insurance, and I feel like I’m getting a great deal. I would recommend State Farm to any driver looking for an all-around great auto insurance company to deal with, and would firmly recommend it to any friend or family member.

State Farm is a good company to be insured by. I have been with them for eight years and have not run into any problems whatsoever. My agent has been very helpful and has even found several ways to save me money on my monthly bill.
There was one incident that occurred when a driver ran into my car as it was parked on the curb outside my house. Although the entire process of filing the claim and getting the issue resolved took about a month, it was not the fault of the company. The delay was mainly caused by the other party’s lack of cooperation and responsiveness. Unfortunately since I wasn’t under full coverage and the other driver didn’t have insurance, my car was not fully repaired and I ended up having to pay for a new vehicle. This was not due to the insurance company, it was due to my choice not to have full coverage for my vehicle so State Farm did exactly what they were supposed to and helped me through the whole process.
However, my parents who also have State Farm have had a similar situation but they had full coverage, and their matter was resolved immediately since State Farm took care of them and was able to handle the paperwork after the fact.
I would say that State Farm has been a great insurance company as they are reasonably priced compared to other companies, have great customer service and have several options for saving money such as good driver/good student discounts.

I love State Farm! namely I love my Agent. She has always worked with me on finding ways to save me money. I currently have my renters insurance, auto insurance and life insurance through State Farm. Back in December of 2009 I was in a bad car accident – ended up being my fault since I was the only vehicle involved, but the claim service was great! And fast! My agent even called me to see if I was ok! Talk about great and personable service! The car was considered totaled and in approximately 2 to 3 weeks I had a check in hand! I definitely will always stay with State Farm and I have always recommended them to anyone I know! I’ve belonged to other insurance companies but none compare to State Farm.

We have never had anything but a positive experience with State Farm. We have multiple insurance plans through them, and they are the first ones we would call if we were interested in obtaining another type of insurance such as disability or life insurance. They worked with us when we were buying a vehicle, and we ended up doing one of our cars loans through them which, while being a bit of a convoluted process, ended up working out well in the end.
When we filed a claim for a fender-bender, it was no problem and they dealt with everything that needed to be done. There were no issues with them communicating to us or dealing with it in a respectful manner. We have always considered their prices to be on the high side of fair. However, there are many ways to get discounts through them, including multiple policy and safe driving discounts. Our rates have automatically been lowered, and notices confirming this have been sent to us a number of times. Policy changes have always been sent in a timely manner, and they do not hover over you and constantly call to try and solicit you. They have been honest about what insurance we do need versus what they recommend, and we have never found them to be pushy.
Overall I would rate them very good in most areas, including customer care and the wide range of products they offer. They have always been good at keeping in communication and answering questions, which we appreciate.

I have been insured with State Farm for 33 years. I have never had any problems with claims or anything else. Over the course of a lifetime, State Farm Insurance has been our only insurance company. We have our home owners insurance and car insurance with State Farm. We have raised 2 children and we took advantage of the State Farm Teen Driver Safety program.
Unfortunately, our children did have a few minor incidents when they were growing up. But State Farm was always there to work with us and get our cars fixed quickly. About 10 years ago, we had a major hailstorm in our area one year where our two cars were damaged. It was a major storm and there were many claims throughout the region. State Farm set up a claims center where you could make an appointment or drive up and have your vehicle inspected and they would write you a check on the spot for the cost of repairs. They also recommended repair shops but you were not required to go to them.
We like the way State Farm does business. It works well for us. We have no desire to ever change insurance companies.

A few years ago, I was pulling out of my driveway when a car turning the corner ran right into the back of my car. The entire back end of my car was totaled. It looked like half car, half accordion. My tail lights were smashed to smithereens, the back and side windows were shattered, and needless to say, the car was never going to be the same. The other driver was uninsured, which was bad for me.
Fortunately, State Farm is a really good insurance provider, and I didn’t have to worry too much after that. I had pretty good collision insurance with them as well, so I paid a fairly low deductible and the rest was covered. My car was in the shop for a month, but I got the deductible back pretty quickly and everything else was fully covered. I didn’t have to pay a single penny out of pocket. Throughout this entire process, State Farm was there for me. I spoke with two different customer service representatives throughout the ordeal, and everybody with whom I spoke was very professional. They made this process a lot easier for me to handle. There was not a lot of paperwork to do, and after I filed my claim, all I had to do was sit back and wait. My insurance rate didn’t go up, either, so besides the actual accident itself, the reporting, claim filing, and waiting were not serious issues.
State Farm made this tough time a lot easier on me just by being so professional, courteous, and timely.

State Farm has been my auto insurance company for as long as I can remember now, and I’ve really enjoyed being a customer of the company throughout the years. I am a fairly safe driver, and have only gotten into one car accident in my entire lifetime. Because of this, State Farm gives me a great rate that is affordable and cheap; I pay less than a lot of my friends with similar driving records.
The one time I did get into an accident was pretty severe though, I was going to work one morning and a car ran straight into me. Both cars were totaled, and the other driver had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Luckily, I left with only a few scratches and just some intense memories. I called State Farm right after the crash, and they really stepped up and made sure I was okay physically and financially. They really took care of everything while I was still shaken up; my agent is honestly one of the nicest people I’ve ever met in my life. I had a new replacement car within days, and was able to get back to work really quickly.
State Farm is one of the best, if not the best, auto insurance companies out there in regards to pricing and customer service. They really care about the customer, as opposed to other insurance agencies, and make sure that the customer always comes first and is satisfied. I would recommend State Farm to any friend or family member.

State Farm has been a very good insurance company to work with. I had to deal with a claim from Geico once and their customer service was terrible. However, State Farm has always been proactive in offering me discounts and making sure I have everything I need. Overall I trust them, and that’s very important in considering your insurer. My agent is always easy to contact and ready to help. I am very happy to use State Farm for my auto insurance

State Farm has been a very good insurance company for my family and I. They have been our insurance providers for over twenty years and we have our car and home insurance through them.
Whenever we have any problems such as cracked windshields, we can call them and they will make sure we are taken care of right away. When my oldest daughter was in a car accident when it snowed, they made sure that she received her check for her accident as quickly as possible. They also handled dealing with the other person’s vehicle insurance to make sure that everything was taken care of. so we didn’t have to.
They have very good rates and I like that the insurance will protect my daughter, even though she is in Florida going to school. My youngest daughter is soon to be sixteen and will be getting here license soon. We have already discussed rates with them, and although our insurance will go up some, they have many opportunities we can take advantage of to ensure that we will not have to pay a ridiculous amount. State Farm takes in account if you children are in school, they take off a percentage if they get good grades, don’t have car accidents, and take a driving education course.
They also send me my updated insurance cards without me having to ask them for them. If I were to ever recommend a car insurance company, State Farm would be my choice, because they have always been a great company for my family and I.

I have been fortunate to not have to file a claim with State Farm, so I cannot speak to that. However, they have been easy to work with on general items. When I call the office (I have a local agent), I always get a live person, not stuck in an automated maze. If I’ve left a message, they call back within 24 business hours. They call me about once a year to review my policy to ensure that I’m getting the best rates and that the policy is meeting my needs. My agent even calls me on my birthday to wish me a happy birthday. The customer service from my local agent is excellent.
One of the reasons I chose State Farm is because a trusted family friend, who is a personal injury lawyer and as such has dealt with many auto insurance companies, recommended them highly. He says that State Farm will actually pay out on claims and that they are fair and reasonable, and that not all other companies do this. Another friend is dealing with a different company regarding an auto accident, and they are refusing to pay. It has even escalated to going to court, and they’re still dragging their heels.
State Farm’s fees may be higher than some others out there, but I believe you get what you pay for. I am willing to pay a little extra now so that, if and when the time comes that I need their help, they will be there for me

State Farm has provided me with quality insurance for the last eight years. My payment has went down twenty dollars over the past three years because of my clean driving record, and I am now paying an affordable premium.
When I have questions regarding my insurance I am always able to reach someone who is knowledgable. I have not had any bad experiences with the company at all. The only thing I would say bothered me is that I had to mention getting a discount for not having accidents during my policy duration.
However, they were understanding, and took my payment down on two occasions. Within the eight years I have been with State Farm I have changed age categories, and in addition to the price drop for good driving I saw a nice decrease in my costs for this reason as well. I would recommend anyone looking to get insurance for their auto to try State Farm.
There’s always someone to talk to when you call, and you don’t get stiffed with premiums you can’t afford. The sales people are knowledgable of the insurance policies, and work to make sure you receive the best possible plan available. Even if you wnat to add other types of insurance to your policy, this is a good company to check out. I wasn’t so sure eight years ago when I first called, but after a few months of being a customer I begin to see that the loudest isn’t always the best. State Farm is more of a modest company which stands in the background and takes care of whomever comes to their doorstep. However, they don’t bombard the ariwaves with promises. They really deliver.

The service that I receive from my State Farm agent is always great. I have claimed two items and my agent is always helpful and polite when he deals with my issues. The company as a whole gives me pretty good deals for my car insurance. I also have my apartment renters insurance through State Farm and that is another reason why they treat me so well. I always hear from my agent quickly and promptly when he needs me to do anything or if he has found anything for me like a new discount or deal or anything like that.
My girlfriend also has car insurance through State Farm and she also has never had anything bad to say about the company or her agent. I have even discussed the issue of car insurance with my friends and they have switched to State Farm after having talks with me about their insurance versus mine.
I have not yet had to claim anything on through my renters insurance, but if I ever do I definitely will feel comfortable going to my agent and discussing what has happened and see where to go from there. Once again overall I would recommend State Farm car insurance and also renters insurance to any person. I feel confident in my agent and that is a rare thing to come across in these years, so therefore it is safe to say that I will be with State Farm for many years to come.

I have been insured with State Farm since I got my license on my 16th birthday, and I have been nothing but pleased with their service, mainly because they are so accessible. Whenever I have had a question or needed help with something, they have always answered the phone or called me back within a couple of hours. They are willing to help with any question you have.
When I got in a car accident when I was 17, they were very helpful and did their best to make sure I felt calm and safe. When I started looking to buy a new car a couple of months ago, they were very patient with me every time I found a different car and called in to get a quote on what my monthly insurance rate would be. They also have tried to find me every possible discount and make sure that I’m getting the best insurance rate possible. Multi-car, good driver, good student, they have helped me get it all.
They are excellent at communicating what I need to do and when I need to do it. I have never felt like they were impatient or did not have time for me. State Farm is wonderful because you deal with a local agent in your city, not a giant corporation. I am able to have a friendly relationship with my agent and the people at his office. When I call in and say my name, they know who I am, who else is on my insurance, and they ask me how school is going. They are very personable, which I value greatly.

I have been a customer of State Farm for about 5 years now. I have nothing negative to say about my experience.
About 5 years ago, as a new customer I was just graduating high school and got bought a used car. They offered me several different ways to start saving money. This was great for me because I was young and financially could have used any help. They offered me a safe driving brochure which I worked on for about a week which came with a video that talked about all different safe driving techniques. After filling out the brochure and handing it in, I saved about 100 dollars a year; and still saving! At the time, I was also a full-time college student. Just for getting over a B+ per semester, I saved 75 dollars every six months. All I had to do was fax over my grades and they processed it.
On another note, I got into one accident (hit a deer), and the whole process with the insurance company went great. It was all taken care of and couldn’t have been easier. Most of all, I just love having all the opportunities to save money which is always being offered to me.
Every year on my birthday, just for my safe driving, I get a discount. It’s nice having it go down every year! Car insurance is obviously an expensive ongoing expense, and nothing beats always having the chance to save money with it! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone!

I have had State farm for eight years and counting. For the most part they have been exceptionally good. Only once have they let me down, only to find out that it was a mistake on my part. I cancelled my Atm card and didn’t change it with their office.
I found my agent through a friend. I wasn’t expecting to have them for long. After everything I had heard I thought I would not qualify. I did it was a pleasant surprise. They were cheaper than my insurance company at the time by quite a lot. I had been under the assumption that I was a loyal customer and being rewarded for it. Not only was I wrong but, it cost me extra. My wife at the time had gotten a speeding ticket, not telling me they increased my rate without even a call to me. Which cause my account to overdraw which they didn’t even try to amend, so they were no longer my insurance company.
My State Farm agent has been great keeping me up to date as well as getting me the maximum coverage for the minimum amount. He finds discounts I would not of thought of in a million years as well as combining stuff to keep cost down. They have the same perks as most of the low cost seen on T.V. companies as well as a few you don’t see. I have not had an accident or ticket so cannot say much there. This is a good thing as far as I am concerned. All in all I am a satisfied customer.

State Farm is the insurance company my parents used while I was growing up. When I started driving I was included on their auto insurance policy. I liked the fact that my family got a discount because of my grades.
When I got my first car while in grad school I continued to use State Farm. Since I was in a different state I was connected with a local insurance agent, which was very helpful. When I graduated from grad school and got married, I finally opened my own State Farm policy with my husband with the agent I was connected with a few years prior. At first my husband was an Allstate customer because that is the company his family used his entire life. However, after seeing my premiums and coverage compared to those provided by Allstate, my husband soon switched over to State Farm. Our agent was very helpful when my husband was rear-ended by an uninsured driver.
Our premium did not increase after this accident, and we were grateful for that. My husband also commented that he was impressed by the customer service provided by State Farm. Apparently his family did not recieve the same level of care from Allstate.
My family moved to another state when I got a new job. Once again, State Farm did a lot of leg work to connect us with a local agent in our new city. Each of the three agents I have had with State Farm have been helpful. I think the customer service provided by State Farm is what most impresses me.

State Farm Auto Insurance is getting an overall 5 star rating from my husband and I. We have been with the same company at the same office location in our town for over 15 years now. We are very please at our Insurance Rates and the cooperation we have received each year when we go into the Insurance office and re-negotiate our annual policy with them.
The company gets 5 stars on their competitive pricing also. We have 3 autos on our policy and the 3rd auto is free liability, as a bonus for our timely payments and customer loyalty. We choose State Farm Insurance because our families use them and are also happy and loyal customers.
In the 15 plus years we have been a customer, we have had to file 1 accident claim that was an accident that was my husbands fault, which was a complete total of our car. Our local agent did all the paperwork for us and we also received a pip check that we didn’t even know we were going to get, so imagine our happy surprise to receive a 2,700.00 check in the mail one day!
The only other claim we filed was that of a non-insured driver that hit our car one day while driving in town. This was also covered under our policy and our local agent took care of all of the paperwork once again.
So we will also give State Farm and our local agent 5 stars for a fast claims process.
We will continue to use them and highly recommend them to all automobile owners. Across the board, State Farm Automobile Insurance Company gets 5 stars from my whole family.
