    State Farm is choosy about whom they will insure. For decades we’d never had a windshield problem, but then we had like three in a year. And one of the cars on our insurance was damaged by a hole in the road; the adjuster couldn’t be bothered to go look at the hole. So we should have paid for the tire ourselves and not worried about the cracked windows; those cracks do not always spider; sometimes they’re no problem at all. That would have been my advice to us if I were the agent.

    Been with this company for 10 years. The agent we were with was great through 6 different vehicles, our home insurance and through a rather bad claim for an accident that was not our fault. They were also super easy to work with for every glass claim we had.

    The only thing I was not happy with was they refunded our entire insurance refund to my ex-husband even though my name was also on the insurance policy. Even though I had also paid for the insurance on the house and before our divorce, because I left him the house in the divorce they gave him the entire refund.

    I have had absolutely no issues with State Farm in the 15 years I’ve had them. I’ve had to make three claims and despite that they’ve treated me professionally and like family each time. The last time a truck ran me off the road and they sent out a tow truck for me in the middle of the night and got me home in a couple hours. My Nissan was getting worked on the very next day and my rates didn’t even go up either. I thought for sure the car was going to be considered totaled but they took care of me and got me back on the road within four days. The time before that I’m not going to lie was completely my fault, I was going too fast in the rain and wound up hitting a pole. I wouldn’t have blamed State Farm at all if they had decided to treat me like the idiot I was for not driving safe in such a down pour but they still treated me like I would treat my own family, the agent (Sarah) showed concern for my own well-being and I felt like she really went out of her way to help us reach a solution that didn’t leave me feeling like I was getting screwed over by them. State Farm has one hundred percent earned my loyalty and if any of my friends or family is ever looking for advice on an insurance company to go with I will definitely be recommending they give them a shot.|Customer for 15 years, no complaints

    I am happy to be a proud customer of State Farm. I am a good driver and I am very much careful on the streets. I was one day hit by a car at a turning point and my car had to suffer unnecessary damage. I approached my auto insurance company and the inspectors of the company came to my house.They reviewed the damage caused to my vehicle and after proper inspection, they took photographs of the same. The inspectors called me to the company office and told me the they required to complete proper formalities for processing the charges for damage. They studied my driving record properly and they found that I had not caused any accident in the last ten years. I am in fact a good driver and I drive my vehicle very carefully and with utmost care. I got the recommendation of this company from one of my relatives who himself owned an auto insurance policy of this company. I also carefully reviewed the feedback of this company online before applying for an insurance policy for my car. The application procedure was really fast and at the same time their claim processing procedure is also fast. Within a reasonable amount of time they processed the insurance claim and I got back the cost of my damage. They deserve credit for such a positive review from my side. I would definitely recommend this company to my other friends and relatives as well. At the same time I would give them five stars.

    I am very indifferent towrads them. They are pretty good because they are state farm and a local company. I get the benefit of a large company like state farm while also getting the benefit of a local company. They have great products and have about 6 different insurance policies with them. That includes all the busieness and personal ones. I have life insurance, auto insurance, house, and also my business. We also have a large personal umbrella policy that covers many things. The costs is a little more than other ones mainly for the auto one. They take my check every month and if I am late they will call pretty quickly. I have had auto claims and they have handeld them. I really am indifferent with them. They do a great job and have a great product but it is not something that stands out. I am not sure how much they would offer if something really bad happened to me. But I would tell my friedns about themn. I do like that they are a national company and not some small local one. I also like that they have a bunch of products and choices.

    I have used State Farm for auto insurance since I was 16 years old. I can honestly say I have not had any issues with this company. And, trust me, I have had almost any type of claim you can think of: at fault collision, windshield, uninsured motorist, theft, and roadside assistance. No matter the type of claim they have always made it easy to file my claim, get an estimate and get a rental car. No hassle claim service is a relief when you are already stressed about being involved in an accident. If you choose State Farm, make sure to add the very inexpensive roadside assistance coverage! I am always locking my keys in the car and all I have to do is take a locksmith receipt by my agent’s office and they can cut me a check right then and there. The same goes for towing expenses. It is also nice to be able to visit an actual agent that only works for State Farm. There are too many online only insurance services today. I appreciate the personal service I can get with State Farm. But don’t worry, they still have 24 hour claim service via phone or internet. Their website is very user friendly and getting a new quote or changing your coverage is a very simple process. I would recommend State Farm with no hesitation. I admit that they may be a little more expensive than some insurance companies out there, but it is worth the price to know you will get good service.

    I’ve carried State Farm insurance for the last 45 years and could not be happier with their service. While it’s safe to say I haven’t had many claims over the years I’ve always found their service to be exceptional on the few times I have needed to file a claim and contact them. For instance, the last major claim I filed was nearly thirty years ago, however, that being said the service I received at the time of the claim was exceptional. My car was stolen and found a week later stripped. It was a very stressful situation. The adjuster explained the repairs needed to my vehicle, and I told them which auto body shop I wanted have do the repairs. The paperwork was handled efficiently and the work was done correctly the first time. No issues. They even paid for nearly a month of car rentals which helped greatly at the time. More recently, I’ve used their road service several times and have always been satisfied. in case you’re not aware, you should probably check with your agent to see who offers direct bill in your city for road service. It’s a real help to not have to pay at the time of the service and have the billing handled directly. No hassle with the paperwork, this makes it much easier on the rare days you use the road service option period I’ve also found that the service is quick and efficient and gets you on your way in much less time than calling a busier service like AAA.

    State Farm has gone above and beyond my expectations on multiple occasions. The time that stands out over all the rest was a time my car was sitting in front of my house on the street. Another drive, who happened to be drunk, ran into the back of my car. That driver also had State Farm and they never questioned or fought with me about the claim. The agent I spoke to on the phone was compassionate and understood that I was completely innocent in the ordeal. She asked me what I needed and how she can help. I told her I needed a car quickly because I needed to take my child to the doctor. They had me a rental car reserved within the hour and the rental car company car came and picked me up. It took no more than 2 hours to get me into a car comparable to what I had. I expected them to put me in a compact but instead I ended up with a vehicle that could fit my entire family. I had the check to replace my car in less than a week and they let me keep the rental car until I had purchased a new vehicle. They did not have to pay for the rental as long as they did but my local agent called and advocated for me because I was a loyal customer. I missed my old car and was not ready to get rid of it, but State Farm made sure I was taken care of.

    I’ve had State Farm for over two decades now. I’ve only had to file a single claim, it was for for a broken window on my car, “vandalism.” One call to my agent was all that was needed. I took the car in the same day and had the window replaced. I received a bill around two weeks later from the shop for my deductible amount, ($100), State Farm had paid the remainder. My claim had absolutely no affect on my premium cost, and shortly after that, my premiums actually decreased through their customer loyalty discount program. I also have Homeowner’s insurance through State Farm, which I am also very happy with, and which entitles me to an additional multiline discount for having more than one policy. My agent is excellent. A very personable and communicative guy and everyone in the office is as friendly and welcoming as can be. I guess who you have for an agent can matter a lot. I’ve compared prices with other companies in the past and have only found one that was cheaper than what I’m currently paying through State Farm; however, that wasn’t by much and certainly not by enough to make me want to switch. The company also happened to be one of those discount insurance agencies, and from what I read, their level of service did not compare to that of State Farm. I do not mind paying a few extra bucks to have a local person who I can call and truly rely on. I don’t see myself ever doing business with another agency.

    I have been insured with State Farm for most of my adult life – roughly 35 years. I am a decent driver but have had two minor “accidents” and a couple of speeding tickets over the years. My premiums generally stayed stable even with the occasional blemish. I get good service when I call my agent’s office and I enjoy having a specific agent rather than just a call center. Most of my claims have been minor but were treated quickly and with respect by all personnel. The receptionist in my agent’s office is especially knowledgeable and pleasant to engage with. I like that they are affiliated with a vast network of repair shops so that I am able to find someone very convenient if repairs are needed. Payments are issued quickly and reliably. I also appreciate the fact that my policy is guaranteed renewable so I don’t fear being dropped. I was able to drop my AAA coverage because similar motorist protection was offered at no additional charge through my State Farm car insurance policy. I moved a few years ago and figured I would need to find a new agent, but my old agent retained my account, which I appreciated since we already had a good working relationship. State Farm is a venerable institution with a long record of service and I don’t have to worry that they will go out of business or not be there if I did have a claim. They also offer a wide array of other types of insurance like home and business, making it possible to earn premium discounts for multiple lines of coverage. I would recommend State Farm to most anyone and believe they would be fairly treated.

    I really love my insurance program with State Farm. I have been with the company for years now and I have never had any issues with them. Even though I have never been in any major accidents or had to do any significant insurance claims with the company, they have nothing been but helpful when I have had to take care of minor problems. First of all, their customer service is amazing. The people I have spoken with have always been helpful and very patient with me. A lot of the times, being understanding and hospitable with the customer will always make a big difference with how the customer views the company. And I have to say, State Farm has a great group of people who represent their company. The policies they have are also very convenient and appropriate for my needs for an insurance company. I consider myself a very responsible driver, so I have been very fortunate. And in return, State Farm has offered me many benefits because of it. They also offer many affordable insurance plans as well. I have friends who also have State Farm for their auto insurance and have been very happy with them. Some of them unfortunately are not as careful drivers as I am, but even with that, have nothing but good things to say about State Farm. They also tell me about the helpful customer service they have as well as the fair insurance policies the company provides. I recommend State Farm to anybody who is interested in a good insurance company that will make sure to provide them with the peace of mind they need. State Farm is something I am happy to support

    I am using State Farm in Morganton. I am very happy with them. I have been using them for about 7 years. I have my auto, life and home insurance with them. I also have a personal liabiilyt policy that I was given. I like the service that they provide. They are very consumer friendly and are always there when I need them. I can also email or call them on the weekends if i have a major problem. I have had several wrecks and tickets and they have always been there to help me. They also have very good products. I can also use them to get other products like mutual funds etc. You get a discount when they provide you all of them. They auto draft my money each month and it works very easy. The renewal process is very quick and it really does not bother me that much. It is a great service. I have sent many friends and family members to them. Even with all my claims and wrecks they have not dropped me and I am very happy for that. I have seen where insurance companies will drop people that file claims and make it very hard to get coverage. I have never had that happen. I will continue to use them over the years and continue to send people to them.

    State Farm has far exceeded my expectations of an insurance company in terms of ease of use and convenience. I’ve never been in an accident, so my review is only about customer service. I have moved several times since I’ve had State Farm and every time I’ve need my agent he was there immediately, thoroughly answering my questions about my coverage rates in different counties of our state. If I need to talk to him or have a question about my service or rates,, he always answers the phone or returns my calls within half an hour. I had to add a driver on my policy that had a previous DUI and my agent worked an absolute miracle in finding a policy that would not break the bank for us. I am also somewhat averse to phone conversations, but my agent makes me completely comfortable and makes dealing with car insurance a real pleasure. My insurance rates are amazing also. Given, I have a clean record, but I’m also a tightwad and my insurance payments don’t even bother me, because they are really low, and since we have children, every dollar really counts. I think a good insurance agent is a bit light a good stockbroker, if they do their research and are committed to their clients, you will catch a good deal, and my State Farm agent definitely knows how to find good deals for me and my family. I’ve recommended him to several other people and he’s been able to help them too.

    Absolutely positively the worst insurance company I’ve ever had to deal with in my entire life. I should have listened to my grandparents when they told me to avoid these scam-artists. They’re perfectly happy taking money from you but heaven forbid you ever need to file a claim with them. They’ll make you hop through so many hoops that you’ll think you were a circus animal. After 5 years of driving insured with State Farm I hit a patch of black ice on the way home from work and collided with another vehicle. The damage was pretty bad but not “total the car its not worth repairing” bad. So what does State Farm do? Start paying for things promptly? Nope. They put me under investigation for “insurance fraud” to keep from having to pay for anything. I wound up having to go to court with my own insurance company to get the service that I’d been paying for for 5 years ACCIDENT FREE/CLAIM FREE. In the end it wound up costing me way way more money taking this scum through the court system than I ever even got out of the claim. The only reason I did it was to clear my name of the “insurance fraud” BS that they were trying to tack onto me and because I was raised to not take that kind of crap from anybody. Seriously, if you or anybody you know is thinking of going State Farm just give that person a slap and tell them to do their research.

    I have been a customer of State Farm’s for the past 17 years. I have never had any problems with claims, questions, or explanations and my agent has always been great to work with. They are always friendly and there when I need them. I have considered changing or looking for a cheaper insurance company, but I always think about the possible changes in customer service and I decide it is not worth it. Their slogan really explains what they do and what they provide. A few years ago, my husband was hit by a driver that didn’t not have insurance. State Farm worked for years to get the settlement from him and approximately 2 years after the accident we received our deductible refund from them along with some other fees we had paid. I was thrilled and couldn’t believe that they would take the time to pursue that and actually give me money back as well. I also have Renter’s insurance and life insurance with them and they always call to assist me with policy changes and other changes as needed. I feel comforted having them as an insurance company and it would take me a lot to even consider ever switching to another company. “Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there”

    I have a love/hate relationship with my auto insurance company, State Farm. The first time I used them after having an accident a few years back, they took excellent care of me and my girls. They sent over a tow truck within a few minutes of calling, set up a rental car for me right away and I received a check for my totaled car within a week of having the accident, which was clearly the other drivers fault since she rammed my car into a bus. But it was a different story when my husband was hit from a woman who was backing out of a parking lot and hit his car while he was pulling into the parking lot. The woman admitted fault to my husband, but changed her story on the claim. We had to pay the $500 deductible, which left us little money for the rest of that month for our regular bills and had to fight tooth and nail to get that money back after it was proven that the accident was, indeed, the other drivers fault. All in all, it took State Farm a year and a half before them repaid us the $500 deductible. And we had to constantly call to ask them about it since no one ever got back to us about this matter. Very frustrating and had they not been the lowest car insurance we could find, we would have switched auto insurance because of this one incident. Even though they took good care of us with the first accident, the fact that they acted like this second car accident wasn’t any big deal and didn’t stay on top of it, left both my husband and myself with a bad feeling about this company.

    I really like this company. Have been with them for about 7 years. They have all my insurance including my business, umbrella, auto and homeowners. I can always call them when I need to get in touch with them or if I have a claim to file. I can even call them on the weekends. I also feel like the price is good and I am happy with the service I get. They are a large company and have been around for many years. I feel good in using them as opposed to smaller insurance company. They also call me when they see ways to save money. I consider them friends and would not switch. I have had two accidents since starting with them and the rates have not gone up that much. They paid the claims both times and with minimal intrusion to me. I have no complaints and would recomend them highly to both friends and family. They are also good with my business insurance and with my homeonwers. One thing they did several years ago was when we had a hail storm. They paid our auto claim on the spot and we did not have to go through any red tape at all. It was great service and only took about 30 mintues to get a check.

    Overall, my experience with State Farm has been quite pleasant. I am the sole proprietor of a small auto repair facility, so it’s essential that my car insurance be up-to-date, organized, and affordable. Thankfully, State Farm encompasses all of these qualities which makes keeping on top of my auto insurance easy and far less worrisome. I am particularly drawn to the customer service aspect that State Farm has to offer. Our customer service representative, Carl, is always courteous and quick to respond to my questions. I am getting a little older and I am sure that I ask the same questions over and over- but Carl never seems to get annoyed with me! Any phone calls I make to the State Farm office are answered within the hour (often about a half hour) and the same goes with emails. Even back when I got into a collision, State Farm was able to quickly resolve my claim. I did not have the back-and-forth with the insurance company situation, as I have had in the past. There was no hold on the phone for hours on end. I called State Farm, gave them the details, faxed them the police report, and my claim was handled. The worst thing I can say is that occasionally I get more than one “reminder” in the mail to pay the insurance on vehicles. I have a few different vehicles for my business, so it can be hard to keep track of what I have already paid. More than once I have cut an extra check for an insurance payment that has already been made.

    I have had a pretty mixed experience with State Farm. Overall, I enjoy them. They are usually quick to communicate with me about my insurance. However there have been a couple of times that I feel like I was lost in the shuffle. The first time it happened was when our old Toyota car was totaled in an accident. It was the other persons fault and the claim went pretty smooth. The only issue I had was our policy being cancelled. I sent them all the paperwork showing what had happened, but was never refunded the difference. After two months of trying, I gave up. It was only $15 and you know, time is money and after awhile it just became not worth the headache. The only other issue I had has been getting our new loan company as the lean holder on our insurance. Well, it has been, but the two companies keep having communication issues and it’s been driving me crazy. Over 6 months I have had to send in proof insurance over four times. It’s quite the headache. Aside from that, my agent is always super friendly when I call to get things taken care of. I doubt that these issue arise from his small office. I enjoy having him as an agent. The insurance is at an amazing price, over $50 less than what any other company was willing to give us. We have had them for about four years now and these two things have been our only issue. We’ve never had any others and I enjoy the amount of coverage we have.

    My insurance company has been the best one I have ever had. They deal with me in a respectful manner and make sure that all my needs are consistently met. I am always able to afford my low insurance payments, and they include more features for the price than any other company I could find. It has been a real pleasure to be part of this company and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great insurance company. I have referred several of my friends to the company, and they even give me little discounts for my referrals. I have been with them for several years now and I do not plan on ever leaving if I can help it. I would hope for anyone to find such satisfaction on their insurance company as I have. I was once in a car accident where a car rear ended me and I had to file an insurance claim. I called the company immediately and they were able to help me with all of the tasks I needed to complete. In fact, they really did everything I needed to do for me. I had the smoothest claim I had ever experienced and I was happy with everything they did to accommodate me. I never have any complaints about their customer service and I would like to say that they are genuine in keeping their promises. I always receive my bill on time and they even have an automatic payment system that helps me to stay up to date on all my payments.

    State Farm office has done well by us. 🙂 We moved in July of 2016 to a new town in a new state. The day I got here, Jan stopped by the house to talk with me and make sure that our insurance situation was addressed. She talked with me for quite a while, didn’t try to pressure me into anything we couldn’t afford, but took the time to get a good idea of what we want to do in the future. She has stayed on top of the process of getting our various coverages transferred from the old office in our old state, calling periodically to say “hey, have you gotten hold of this information? No? Okay, I’ll check again in a month”, and she’s saved us quite a bit already over what we were paying before for the same coverage. Her office staff are helpful and on the ball every time I contact them for anything. I had to stop by the office for something one day, and left with coffee mugs, coloring books and crayons for the kids, coffee mugs, and handsfuls of chocolate from the bowl of Halloween candy they had out. I’ve never felt so welcomed by an insurance agent

    I recently moved to a different state and had no insurance for probably 6 months. I was very scared to get insurance because I thought it was going to cost a fortune and I did not have the money or the job at the time, plus I did not know how much longer I was going to keep the car I had since I was thinking of selling it and purchasing a new car. I eventually looked up the cheapest insurance I could get near me and it was State Farm. I drove there and walked in around noon and was instantly helped by an agent because there were no other customers there. They walked me through all of the different plans and the costs of each and suggested which ones would be the best for me. I picked the cheapest plan and it was only $50 a month! I gave the agent all of my information and they filled out everything and we were all done within 5 minutes of me walking in. It was a very stress-free process. I haven’t been in any accidents since purchasing the insurance so I haven’t really gotten to know how good the coverage is, but I am still on the same plan I purchased originally and have no plans of switching providers or dropping my coverage anytime soon! Also, maybe because I live in sort of a remote area, but my insurance was drastically cheaper than other areas I have lived. I have family members that live in Washington DC that have to pay almost $150 a month per car for their insurance, so I got a steal!

    My favorite insururer has got to be State farm. My parents had auto insurance among other insurances their entire life and they were always very satisfied with both the cost of the service and the customer service whenever something was needed. Its the reason I got it myself actually.

    Now for the longest time I never actually needed to call in and file a claim until some kid ran a red light and slammed into my car. At a time like that, no one knows what to do if you’ve never been in the situation before. Its very complicated and confusing. I called in, filed my claim, and within a week a claims adjuster came out and took a look at my car. While it was pretty dinged up, they cut me a check within a few days of that to pay for the repairs. They were very fair with their estimate and I was super satisfied overall.

    I can’t say better things about this company because they’re just that good. If I had to reccomend any one company over the rest, State farm is it. The premiums are very reasonable and the discounts are great. Their web site is very fast and its easy to make your monthly payments, and they even give you a discount for paying the 6 months in advance, which is great if you have extra cash and still want to save a little money. Best company ever, you won’t regret insuring with them. Love em

    Overall I am very satisfied with the service. The price of the insurance is fair and my agent is really responsive to my needs. However there are some cons with State Farm. One was that the deductible was relatively high in my opinion. Earlier this year I was driving on a freeway and a rock hit my car’s windshield, causing it to crack. I needed to have the windshield replaced because the crack was too big to repair. I then went to a service that can replace windshield and the cost was a little over $400. I then called my agent to see if insurance can cover this, but then I found out that the deductible was $500. Which means I had to pay the whole cost out of my own pocket. Other than the deductible it was really great. I have never used their service for car toll yet but I have heard good things about it. The service is efficient and reasonably price. Other than these I feel like State Farm is really innovative in terms of commercials. I am a big NBA fan so I see their commercials with NBA players all the time. Overall in my opinion State Farm provides good services to their clients, and I would recommend this to everyone who is still looking for an insurance provider for their cars. I am been a client for State Farm for over 5 years, and I have never been dissatisfied with their service. Their responsiveness is definitely top notch. I hope they can keep this up

    It was quick and easy to sign up with State Farm. They assign you your own agent based on where you live, but you can sign up for the insurance entirely online if you choose to, and request information and make changes to your policy online. I like that because I find it annoying talking to customer service if I don’t have to. I signed up for monthly payments which is cheaper than any insurance company I could find. The payments automatically deduct from my bank account.

    One issue I had was that one month I didn’t have enough for payment but instead of calling me and letting me know, I got a letter from State Farm saying my insurance would be cancelled unless I paid by a certain date. I think that they should call to let you know. I made the payment right away, then two days after that I got a call from customer service asking if I made the payment. That could be a little more organized. I never had gotten into an accident myself but someone hit my car while it was parked. That person also had State Farm insurance so I had to talk to that person’s customer service representative to give them information about the claim. The process was easy, but not quick. It took a very long time for customer service to call me back to give me information about where I could go to get my car fixed.

    But overall customer service is very nice and helpful and the insurance is the cheapest out there.

    The guys and gals at the local State Farm office are very friendly and always have time for me even if I walk in unannounced. I really like that. It was pretty pain-free to change my policies when I needed for what I needed, and when I first signed on with them the price was right.

    That being said, it’s been 3 years now and I’ve gotten ZERO discounts for being accident free, for being with them for a few years – and the big one – I went from high-risk to having nothing at all on my driving record and having car insurance steadily for over a year, and saw my policy still not drop by a dime. Now, in the past I’ve gotten these discounts with several other companies and the fact that State Farm doesn’t seem to review or update your policy or give you any discounts beyond what you qualified for the day you sign up seems pretty out of touch to me. I’m really starting to think it’s time to do some insurance shopping again, much as I hate to.

    I chose this particular auto insurance company because my parents used the agent for many years while I was growing up and I went to high school with his daughter. He and his wife are a well-known family in our community. I have never had any issues with State Farm. I was in a very minor accident a few years ago, and calling in the claim was easy and fast. I would say the rates are a little on the higher end but in comparison to the service you get, it’s definitely worth it, in my opinion. I was worried our monthly payment would go up after my accident but we didn’t notice a difference. I would highly recommend State Farm to anyone looking to change insurance companies. There’s no gimmicks, what you see is what you get. The customer service agents in the local office are happy to answer any questions and are personable and patient. They don’t rush you into making any decisions. Changes are made quickly, usually on the same business day. They have been happy to help us when we’ve purchased new vehicles in getting the policy updated and proof of insurance sent to the dealership. We really couldn’t ask for anything more from an insurance company and plan to keep using them for many years. In fact, we also use State Farm for our Home Owners Insurance and that has been a great experience as well. I would recommend State Farm to anyone looking to purchase any type of insurance.
