Access Insurance was started in 1994 and only writes property and casualty auto insurance. They currently write insurance in 22 states, with their insurance policies being sold only through independent agents. They are based out of Atlanta, Georgia.

I am content being insured by Access General. They are not the best company, but they were able to insure me for a cheap rate.
Insurance options are very limited if you have a terrible driving record, so my options were very limited. I have the minimum coverage with them and have been lucky that I have not been in any accidents that would involve the insurance company. Since I needed to get an SR-22, many insurance companies gave me a ridiculously high rate. Access General was the most affordable insurance company that was willing to insure me.
The minimum coverage is decent and nothing special. They just cover collision and bodily damage. They will not cover any cost to your vehicle. The company provided me with the right documents to allow me to drive again at an affordable price. Paying Access General is easy in that I can do it only for a small fee or I can send a cheque. The fee to pay online is only $4.
Customer service is a bit lacking though. When I try to call them I would wait for over 15mins on hold before talking to a person. The same goes for email. They would reply to my messages in about two days. Access General is an okay insurance company if you want something affordable or are not able to be insured with others.
For the time being, Access General is a good insurance to rebuild the driving record, otherwise I would not recommend them
