Allied Insurance Customer Reviews
Allied Insurance has been around since 1929 and was originally known as ALLIED Mutual Automobile Association. They are currently headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa.
In 1998, they became a part of Nationwide Insurance. They have still kept their own separate identity and write policies under the name of Allied Insurance. They are just under the umbrella of Nationwide, like so many other companies in the Nationwide family.
Allied Insurance boasts a number of convenient payment plans, including a monthly payment plan that has no monthly service fees. They also are one of the few companies in the nation to give you a choice of getting a 6-month policy term or a 12-month term.
As a member of Nationwide Insurance they are on the Fortune 500 list.

|I love this company. They gave me accident forgiveness right from the start of the policy. They have always been very responsive and fast when I call for service. I never have to wait long on hold with them. I once had a claim after hours and found that they are also there 24 hours and I didn’t wait on hold at all. I was a bit worried when I started the policy because it was so much cheaper than my GEICO policy. But that worry soon evaporated. I needed a windshield repaired and it was done for free through Allied. I was very pleased with that coverage. I would highly recommend this company to friends and family!
