Buyer beware–a bait & switch insurance company. Praise God that Imperial Insurance is not “my” insurance company. The driver who hit my vehical is insured by Imperial and Imperial absolutely refuses to return any of my phone calls. I’ve been told by the repair service company that I should have received a check for damages per the estimate done but, I’ve not received the check and again, calling Imperial seems to be a waste of time. What a scam.

We have used Imperial Fire & Casualty Insurance Company for about 2 years and have only had one irritation. The main thing we like about it is that the payments can be made online and their website is very simple and easy to navigate. You just log in, click that you want to make a payment and your amount due is sitting right there. It does not save credit card information though so you have to retype that in every time which could be good for some people or a pain for others.
Our policy is a 6 month one and we pay monthly and then it renews every 6 months. Well on the website, the first payment of the renewed policy is not able to be accepted on their site because it thinks your old policy is still in place, therefore it thinks you owe $0. At that point, you have to call in to make your payment. Other than that little annoyance, we’ve had no problems. The prices are very reasonable which is why we chose them and we just have liability on 2 vehicles.
The 3rd party company we go through to use them is very nice also. We have never been in any kind of accident with either of our vehicles. We get monthly statements and every 6 months that envelope will also include the new paper cards for each vehicle. I would rate Imperial Fire & Casualty a 4 on a scale from 1-5 and definitely recommend them for cheap insurance rates and for having a user-friendly website to make your payments!
