I have been with New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Company for over 10 years now and I have never been happier with a car insurance company. First off their prices are amazing compared to other insurers in the area for equivalent coverage. I have personally shopped around and heard from friends about their bills and there is no one lower. I have also never had any problems with them. I was once hit from behind from another car while pulling out of a spot. I was able to discuss the matter with them and send images to prove I was not at fault and the quickly agreed and did not increase any premiums. I actually never heard about the accident again even though I thought it would have dragged out for a bit. Previously I had been insured through another company and it was always a pain to jump through hoops to get information to them, and still have them raise my premiums. As a bonus, New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Company also returns some money to you at the end of the year for safe driving and not having been in any accidents. It is not a big check, but they could easily pocket the money like other companies do. A few years ago I had to add my daughter to my plan and I was worried that it would be a high price because of her age and because she was a new driver, but it was a minimal increase which I didnât expect. All around, they are a nice company that cares for their customers.

A couple months ago I was in a car accident. It was a simple fender bender, and the other person was clearly at fault. I didn’t have time to call the police and file an official report because I had to be at work, so I just exchanged numbers and info with the other person. At my lunch break, I decided to call my insurer, the first time I had ever done so. I didn’t know if I would be able to get a hold of anybody in 30 minutes or under, and what the whole deal was (this was my first accident every). Much to my surprise, I got on with a real person within 2 minutes. He explained that all I had to do was fill out a report that they would mail me. Also, I could take my car to an approved shop, and get a rental car the same day with only my deductible down ($500). He answered all my questions, explained that they would hound the other company and that I would likely get my deductible back from the other company since the other person was at fault. He also told me that my insurance would not be going up since this was my first accident and that it was clearly the other person’s fault. Everything happened just as he said, I dropped off my car at a shop, who gave me a ride to the rental agency. I got the paperwork in the mail a day later which I filled out instantly and mailed back. I got a call a week later from the same guy I spoke to originally, saying that my story was corroborated by the other party and the other insurance paid them, and I would be getting my deductible back in a check that would arrive later that week. Again, happened just as promised. Overall, for the money I pay, it was amazing service that worked as quickly as I could have imagined it. Would definitely recommend.

I recently was in a fender bender. I was still and the person behind me hit me. Completely their fault. I had to get to work so we just exchanged info and didn’t file a police report. At lunch that day I called NJM. I got a guy on the phone within 5 minutes which was awesome. I explained the whole thing, he got a bunch of the information, and he said he was shipping me a packet to fill out. He told me that if all was how I said, I would just have to pay my deductible (500), but NJM would get the other persons insurance to pay for it and I would get it back, and my rates wouldn’t go up.
Well the packet came the next day, I shipped it back, and then took my car to get repaired at one of their approved auto shops that was only a couple miles away. A few days later the agent that I had spoken to called me back and said that they received the package, they were filing a request with the other persons insurance, and it all looked good. The car got fixed in 2 days beautifully, I didn’t even notice that it had been repaired at all, and in 2 weeks I was reimbursed 500 for the repairs, and my rates haven’t gone up since. It was the easiest process ever. I know that if I needed the agent again I could have called him directly because he gave me his cell phone number. It was easy as cake and I loved dealing with NJM

I am very happy with New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Company. I don’t really remember how I was able to get this insurance, I know it is not for everyone. It was either because I work for the State, or because my parents had the insurance… It was very difficult to obtain and they required lots of documentation.
However, once I got with the company, I can understand what all the fuss is about, and why they are so elite and highly regarded.
I had a terrible accident last year, where my car was crushed on 95 from the front and back. A woman in another vehicle was injured. The accident was not my fault. After a short interview after the accident, I got a NICE rental car while my car was fixed in the shop, and I only had to pay the low deductible. It all went very smoothly and the car was returned like new. It was completely hassle free.
A few years ago, however, I did have a problem with a cracked windshield from a rock or something, and it was much more difficult and annoying to replace under the insurance. I think because the total cost to repair the windshield was less than my deductible, they offered no assistance. Overall, I am very happy to be with NJ Manufacturers
